I came to this restaurant many times a while back and it became my favorite spot. Their green tea creme brulee and lychee martini won my heart. Last night we brought the kids with us to celebrate my birthday. So happy to say it's exactly as I remembered. Our waiter, Fernando, was the absolute best with a great sense of humor. The restaurant is always clean and beautifully decorated. The Christmas lights added a classy touch and the atmosphere is always quiet and pleasant. The wings and popcorn shrimp were the kid's favorite. I also love that they provide sectioned plates specifically for kids. The sake was great! Hubby and I truly enjoyed ourselves. I recommend visiting this restaurant. We live in a world of ordering on our phones instead of stepping out. I highly suggest actually visiting Komegashi and enjoying the atmosphere and food in person.
An experience that exceeded all my expectations. Initially drawn in by the promise of a stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, I discovered much more to rave about at this charming restaurant. The view of Manhattan from Komegashi Too is nothing short of breathtaking. It sets a magnificent backdrop that enhances the dining experience, making it ideal for a special evening or a relaxing dinner after a long day. But what truly made our evening memorable was the exceptional food and service. The menu at Komegashi Too offers a delightful array of dishes, and we were fortunate to have a server who provided excellent recommendations. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly prepared and presented. The flavors were authentic and rich, indicating the high quality of ingredients used. The service deserves a special mention. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us choose the best dishes. Their recommendations were spot-on, adding greatly to our overall enjoyment of the meal. In summary, Komegashi Too in Jersey City is not just a restaurant with a great view; it's a complete package of stunning scenery, delicious food, and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful dining experience with a spectacular view of Manhattan. Highly recommended! 🌆🍣👍
Excellent lunch combo and scenic Hudson River views. Ordered the mixed tempura appetizer and Katsu curry with rice. The curry was savory and peppery, with a slight heat and generous mix of onions, potatoes, and carrots. The pork katsu was golden-brown on the outside and juicy on the inside. The mixed tempura was well-executed. The batter was crispy, the shrimp and vegetables were fresh. Paid $33 after tax and tip and was FULL. If you back out the tempura the meal would be around $20. Overall worth it for the service, quantity, and quality of food.
I’m a regular here by now… it’s one of my go-to lunch spots in the area. A pretty decent japanese spot - I’ve had all the katsu variations and the sukiyaki. I would recommend the curry katsu or katsu don, not the sukiyaki (a bit bland). Prices are reasonable, in the high teens. I’ll give 5 stars because the service has always been exceptionally nice, without a doubt.
Classic Japanese service - you are treated like king and/or queen. Michi served me at the bar solo. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and comfortable. The restaurant is large with plenty of places to sit without squeezing tight. Sushi was FRESH and quality. Will come back forever. Thanks for a great experience as always.
Spacious place at a nice location. Got chicken wings, popcorn shrimp and Alaska roll for appetizers along with green tea. All three tasted great, the portion size is a bit small for the appetizer but they are priced accordingly. Got chicken Tokyo fusion for main course, that's enough for two people. Overall good taste, vibes and a very reasonably priced dinner costing only approx 20 per person.
Nice option for sushi in the area. There are not a ton in Newport/Exchange and esp. near my office. They have the standard selection of fish that you'd expect from the more Americanized style sushi joints. I thought their offerings were fresh tho and it didn't break the bank. I saw a lot of curry lunch specials when I went. Have not tried it but will next time.
Good spot for a view of downtown while enjoying a sushi roll. Lychee martini was delicious. Server was very nice and friendly, cracking jokes every once in a while. We had a good time here and will be coming back.

wow!!! i just bought the vegan bowl, and i left no crumbs on my plate. i decided to try something new today, considering iâve tried their shiitake rolls before and it was so good. 1000/10, will definitely return! this spot never misses!
This place is amazing. Great Coffee and really high quality sandwiches, all for the same price or even less expensive than Starbucks (and less crowded). Awesome bakery stuff too. Canât recommend it enough.
Wow their sandwiches are absolutely delicious. We loved both the Korean and Peruvian Chicken Sandwiches as well as the Togarashi Fries. Picture doesnât do justice but the chicken were BIG and sooooo tender. Fresh out of the batter & crispy. That yu
Hungarian delight. Feels like youâve taken a trip to Eastern Europe. The food is exceptional and a rare find across the tri-state. Alfredo makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend
I joined 150 BayFit for 3 months this summer, and my experience was fantastic. The business is runny very professionally, just like the classes. Everyone is there to work, but itâs a perfectly enjoyable environment welcoming of all skill levels. Iâ
Oh this is definitely a great place to go. It's a memorial on the pier. You have the best view of the Manhattan skyline. Also, there's plenty of great food trucks. The statue itself is very beautiful. It's majestic. And the piers are wonderful. You c
Love the amenities and our great neighborhood. The staff at The Lenox is top notch, from the front desk to the sales staff and maintenance team. After selling my home, I settled in at the Lenox and have loved it from day one. ðð½. Update! 5 y
This theater is incredibly ornate and beautiful, even in its semi-restored state. Huge shout out to the volunteers and organization that put on screenings, it's great to be able to experience a classic movie in such a magnificent space and they make
