They will nickel and dime you! We called to make our reservation and we’re told to get the best prices we could split our 4 night stay into 2 reservations. Then she booked us an extremely expensive package making us think we were getting free spa services. Then when we went to switch rooms, we were told that we could keep the upgraded room we were initially staying in and the 2nd 2 nights would be comped. When we went to check out this was not the case. Josh, at the front desk was very confrontational and even though he admitted they didn’t word things correctly and overcharged our spa services, didn’t make things right. All this to not forget that we couldn’t even use all the spa amenities, the men’s lounge was closed. And this was not communicated. And the food sucks. We tried several of their restaurants and found food off the resort that was 100 times better and much cheaper. And the expensive room we stayed in was not worth it. And housekeeping was mediocre. And there’s not even a microwave in a $1,600 per night room. Do not recommend.

Good stay, the rooms at the inn are basic but neat & clean. Good 1-2 day getaway, with decent food (don’t expect Chicago level food), scenic spots and a nice quiet time. It is expensive but you there free / included elements to enjoy once you’re there. I don’t golf but all the courses (4 I believe) looked pretty spectacular.

Never have been to a 5star hotel before. The atmosphere called back to an older time ,but with all the modern amenities. The rooms were small, but you are not meant to stay in the rooms . The resort encourages you to explore the grounds with activities and find a place to read and turn off. The staff showed such grace and civility. On warmer days one can just want to go out and explore the town and awe in the quiet that is part of the facility.

We stayed at The American Club for 4 nights and it did not disappoint...again! I can't say anything negative about the place. The Kohler company seems to 'autograph' everything they do with EXCELLENCE and it's working for them. We did the hotel tour to learn more about the history of this place, in a word, fascinating! If you ever get an opportunity to visit this place be sure to do so!

We stayed at the American Club for the weekend of valentines day. The hospitality and service was top notch. The Spa was amazing! Food was also great. Elizabeth was our server at the Wisconsin Room for two meals and she was very friendly and offered great customer service. Overall a great experience and worth the splurge for a special occasion.

Disclaimer: I'm a pretty low maintenance middle aged lady and pretty easy to please. With that said, I must say that I absolutely loved this place. Stayed in the Inn on Woodlake in the two bedroom suite with two friends and had way more space than we needed. It was terrific. Staff there was great and they had updated their breakfast from previous reviews. We visited the Kohler Design Center, visited the Shops at Woodlake, bought snacks at the Woodlake Market and enjoyed it all. We also visited the Kohler Water Spa and that was fabulous. There were a lot of wonderful young women and men taking care to keep the common areas clean and refreshed. The services that I received from Jessica and Donna were wonderful-both ladies were very professional and attentive. We ate at the spa cafe-again wonderful. We went from Wednesday afternoon until Friday noon at the end of April and did not feel crowded. Thank you to all of the staff for the incredible work you do. The reservation staff was also amazing. Nick and several others answered all of my questions and made changes several times for me. There were no surprises in terms of billing for me-another reviewer had mentioned issues with this earlier. I believe that the staff has taken customer suggestions/concerns seriously. It is expensive, but I felt that it was worth it. It kind of felt like being in Austria to me. Wonderful experience and I hope to be able to return. Trip typeFriends Rooms5.0Location5.0Service5.0

I wish that it was possible to give more than 5 stars because I would. My entire experience from arrival to departure was phenomenal. I hope the people at Kohler see this. I have some honorable mentions of people who made this vacation something I will never forget. 10/10 would come back and will try to in 2022. In the Kohler Spa: Nicole & Logan - amazing customer service Sienna - facial - my 1st ever and it was beyond what I expected Megan - massage - another amazing service and she was super nice Carriage house - Clara, Colleen, Adam and Sedin - all were such gracious hosts and made us feel welcome even when we had a late night in the lobby. Drew - at Horse & Plow - great bartender/server - super friendly. Julia - Blackwolf restaurant - She was such an amazing server and super accommodating Chase - Greenhouse - thanks for the history lesson and the lovely London Fog you made. I hope someone there sees this and lets you all know how amazing you were. Thanks for the experience.

Loved the spa. Little Miss leading booking the whole experience. Gonna keep it short. Probably won't be back! Sad to say because we dreamed about coming back for our honeymoon but billing wasn't explained very well but theydefinitely were willing to check us out and clean the bank account without explaining everything at the beginning so we were prepared! Everyone I met and talked to who worked for Mr Kohler seemed like he respected his working class people, I guess I was just a guest but it's definitely a money driven business, even down to the $1 charge to call for a shuttle they offer for free! Had fun, thanks crossed off the list!

I visited here to watch my son play in the Plymouth High School German band. This time of year they have a gingerbread house festival. Schools and people from around Sheboygan County can submit gingerbread houses to be displayed throughout December.

My partner and I walked in on our day off yesterday, and we were immediately greeted by not only the aroma of chocolate, but also by Andy and Jackie behind the counter! It’s so rare to see people go above and beyond, and that’s exactly what A and
