Our favorite place to get fresh Salsa! We go weekly for a quart so we have for the whole week! Chips and salsa are our favorite snack late at night! Every time we dine in or takeout food is always so good! Everyone working there is so friendly and makes us always come back!
Haven't been here in over four years, and I guess that this time around, the service has declined a bit. The service was ok, great looking, and well-kept's bathrooms. Now, as far as the food be warned that the chile sauces are hotter than the other restaurants, but they won't tell you, so be aware. The first picture depicted my nieces mother. She was so hungry that she ate maybe a quarter of her plate, but she couldn't stand the heat of the chile. They didn't care. We paid full price for what she couldn't eat at all, and we certainly were not going to take it home... it would end up in the trash. I had the carne adobada, and it was good, my niece had the burnt cheese tacos she enjoyed them, but not the posole too bland. Take a chance if you like scorching hot tasting food. Happy eating, everyone.
I've been eating at Kocina De Rafael for several years and I can only say that I've never had any better New Mexican food than they serve at Kocina De Rafael. I'm going to be a loyal customer and will eat here every chance I get. Five Stars for the best New Mexican dishes and Chilie both Red or Green in Las Vegas NM. Five Stars!
1st time here. Ordered the chicken fajitas and order of frys. Ordering take a longtime, wouldn't recommend the drive thru. The fajitas are so 🔥 👌 😍, very very good. But the frys suck. They were cold with no salt.
This place has AWESOME FOOD! Burnt cheese tacos to die for, Great Salsa, Excellent green chile and creamy, Smokey Red chile ALMOST As Good As My Wife's! Nice people, large portions however, it took us 15 minutes to get our bill when we were ready to leave. They WERE Busy but, that was just too long to wait for a bill. All in all, this is a GREAT place to eat! I'll be going back.
I do like this place but sorry guys $17.50 for this much menudo, pozole not included...good menudo but I pretty much bust my butt off for an hour and a half to afford this for pick up...not sure how the quantity is for dine in but I'm thinking definitely not this much in a bowl for dine in?

We love the food here. It's a little pricey. We always eat here when we come to town, usually every other month. We look forward to it. We love the red 🌶️ chili! The restaurant is an older style, takes me back to my younger days in the 90s mom and pop place.

Highly recommend. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the small inside dining area. Everything from the condiments on the table to the clean table and clean floor. There was not one fly in there. For this time of year that is pretty impressive.
