Kobe Hibachi Grill & Sushi - Japanese steakhouse in Fayetteville - 643 Van Asche Dr, USA

The food was absolutely delicious and the service and staff were excellent. The lighting Inside the restaurant wasn’t too bright and the music wasn’t too loud; it had a perfect laid back atmosphere. My girlfriend had the Naruto roll, my friend got the caterpillar roll and Shochiku Bai Ginjo sake, I had the lucky roll and we all shared crab and scallop cakes appetizer; all around 10/10. We all loved it and would absolutely come back.

I can't rate a 5 due to their bathroom issue. The sewage line was backed up, and the bathroom smelled terrible! I took my brother here for his birthday, and he LOVED the food. Service was good but could have been better, we came in between hours, so they weren't busy, which means you shouldn't have to wait on service imo (and yes, I have waitressed). My daughter, 5yo, is always down for some sushi but also loves the noodles from here. We ordered the stuffed avocados as an appetizer, and the Pink Panther, Baked Snow, and Eel roll for our meal. The rolls are huge, and we had leftovers.

Our server Hayden was awesome! He made us feel at home, was super nice, and still kept up with the rest of his work. Hayden deserves praise for being a great person. The food was great, service was quick, drinks were good. I liked the plum sake.

Server never came back while we were eating to refill our drinks. Ordered sushi 5 rolls and avocado appetizers for 3ppl and we didnt know rolls were huge. Filled with alot of rice and little meat then drizzled with alot of sauce. Clear soup was nasty tasted like pond water. The only thing I liked in the menu was the stuffed avocado appetizers and the firecracker roll. If ur new to sushi u might like this place which it is ok for the price. But quality is not there nor is the service. Find other restaurants for a better quality sushi.

1st time to visit because it was the only sushi place we could find open for a late lunch. Good value for your money. Larger portions than any other sushi restaurant we've eaten at. It is now, definitely my go-to place for sushi in Fayetteville.

They need to clean everything. I was there for a friend's bday or I would have left because everything was filthy. The full menu smelled of beer and was wet and sticky. The paper menu was gross, the table was gross, the stainless was gross. The waiter was super slow and forgot several items including one person's food all together. The cook was great and the food was good. It would have been nice if the cook would have waited for me and my child to return from the bathroom before starting the show. Instead we missed the beginning which is my favorite part. Also we had a large party and were seated at a double grill "table" but there was only one cook working one table so more than half the group was behind the cook and could not watch the show. I was very disappointed but did not want to make a scene at my friend's party. For the price they charge, they need to step it up!

Took my daughter there because Shogun was full that evening. Felt as though the cook (Caucasian btw) was just going through the motion. Barely any interaction. He didn't serve any sauces, and didn't even ask how I wanted my steak cooked. I know getting hibachi steaks cooked the way you want is a stretch, but at least attempt! We also asked for extra fried rice since my daughter was eating sushi, but wanted to share from our plate. They brought us an order of fried rice rather than one cooked at table. 🤷

Never disappointed when eating here, their stuffed avocados are amazing and always the perfect amount of crunch. The beef fried rice and chicken fried rice are always outstanding. The decor doesn’t fully match the style of the restaurant but the crew makes it work. Servers are always super fast and hospitable. The food is always hot and fresh and tastes amazing. Love coming here when I’m in the area.
