A definition of a slow pace life in Oahu’s Windward side. One the place that I love going back as no loud noises happening around. Tourists won’t be so excited in here coz tru, there is really nothing much to do unless you are doing errands like grocery or have an appointment at DMV. Basically mostly essential business are here and that’s pretty enough you need to survive as residence in the area/neighboring area. Koolau Center ain’t for tourist but sure thing you will enjoy the serenity and the wonderful backdrop of the Koolau Mountains!
good local spokking center, parking is an issue, very small spots, too close
This plaza has a variety of businesses, including a grocery store with a pharmacy, multiple fast food restaurants, a nail salon, and a driver's license office to assist with getting permits, transferring from another state, and road tests. Those are just some of what this small shopping center has to offer. Being that it's right off of Kahekili it's great for that last minute stop for something you may have forgotten, or if you need to pick up food last minute. Lots of parking as well! Aloha 🌈🌊🌞
I miss the Ko'olau movie theater. It was our favorite. They actually popped their own popcorn! I think the Chinese restaurant has the best char siu. I don't care for the Mexican restaurant there. The food is not that great, I make better rellenos. I only tried the rellenos once, at the grand opening, and was very disappointed. The poblano pepper was unpeeled and undercooked. The rest of the food was very salty. Several years later, we decided to try there again. We won't be returning anymore. The center also has McDs, Times Supermarket, and a few small takeout restaurants. I would recommend them for fast and tasty meals on the go. Times Coffee House is a neighborhood staple. Not fast food, but good hearty local fare. We go there a lot. Sadly, since COVID a couple of years ago, they no longer open for dinner.
Got my license at this place. I used to watch movies here, and we like to grab lunch/ breakfast here.
parking lot is scary-dark at night. theater hasn't opened since 2020 (they still have the Disney Onward poster up lol). has a dialysis center, Subway, Chinese food, local plate lunch kine place, bar&lounge?, sushi, Mexican food, City Hall, snack shop, Times, McDonald's, and some private offices like doctors offices. but it's not a terrible place. LOTS of parking!
Lots of great shops and a great place to stop if you don't want to fuss with the traffic in Kaneohe on your way North! Kahalu'u is a great place to live and this shopping center is a great place to find food, a bar, the DMV, and TIMES Supermarket!
It's a shopping center with a pretty good Mexican resturand, a crack seed store, a few chains restaurants, a movie theatre, grocery store, DMV and a dialysis place. You can get your driver's license, a margarita and your blood cleaned all in one place!
It's really good shopping Mall to hang around and also shopping for everything you needs so bring your family and friends support the local business buy Hawaii Mahalo
Always love shopping there and got there by bus this time. Got off the City #60 bus that came from downtown and headed to Haleiwa on the North Shore. We stopped to have something to eat then continued our journey for a late lunch in Haleiwa. The bus
Great little place for brunch. We had never heard of it but stopped for a quick breakfast and the service was excellent! Very friendly, good coffee and good plus a chill atmosphere.
Pilsner is the best on island. IPA and sour also very good. Servings are a little small (8oz?) but it gives you the opportunity to try a few different beers. Glad I stopped by.
Food was great ambiance is okay. Kailua spot is small itâs more like a space was provided so you can eat there if you need. Itâs not like a restaurant where youâre like letâs go there to sit in and eat but more like letâs grab some food and
Worth the trip! Enjoyed a delicious meal with family here and everyone loved their food. We arrived close to opening time and were seated within 15 minutes. Our server was attentive and friendly.
The sushi was really good, I liked the flavors and rice texture. I called in a order for a few platters, everyone I encountered was very friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend this place and come back. It was a perfect for 10-15 of us today.
10/10 place Iâd recommend if youâre hungry and need a quick bite to eat!! Crystal (our server) was absolutely amazing !!! She kept her smile on and her positive attitude coming! Eat here and ask for her! She deserves $20 tips every table
The pictures don't do this place any justice, but it's a beautiful hike! The trail was a bit slippery but we came around January when there's more rain. Plenty of shade and mosquitoes! Bring your bug repellent. I brought my Littles and we didn't go a
Great little place for plate lunches! Our chicken was fresh, delicious, and fried well. Decent size portions, good food, and fairly cheap prices! Definitely would come here again!
The food was bomb! Hard to find a spot with great food and seating for my family of five, but we were comfortable and enjoyed a delicious breakfast meal. The staff was great and the pricing is good too.
