The front desk personnel is amazing. The rooms are clean and descent for the price. Only complaint is that the internet is HORRIBLE. You are better off trying to use dial-up rather than use their wifi. I have to walk around the room doing figure 8s to get a signal. When you do get signal you cannot connect to emails or anything. I walked to the office and it wasn't any better.

The lady that works at the front desk is very sweet. Very kind and understanding. She does the best she can no matter what the situation is My mom stayed here for over a week because she was stuck because of all the ice and her heat wasn't working nor did the water. The only thing that was compensated was like a two extra day stay but that's the best the lady can do given she just worked there and she had to do whatever she was told to do. Like I said, not the best place to stay. If you could afford to stay somewhere else put the lady at the front was exceptionally wonderful

Laurie is really nice! I think she is the owner. I called and she gave me all the information and checked a few things with me prior to our stay. The time we arrive she was very sweet! I just watched how she treated us and watched how she went around the property in this heat making sure the rooms were clean. I was very satisfied at our departure and made sure to wave bye as we left. I just appreciate in a world when people do the bare minimum and expect to be praised and someone so polite and humble who is just doing their job! Thank you for making our experience a good one! The rooms are clean! They are cozy! The cottage lay out and space between them I love! They are affordable! The bedding looked new! We had towels available! The soap smells amazing😂 microwave and stainless steel mini fridge, and flatscreen tv! I highly recommend staying here!

Never had problems there until I stayed with my fiancé. At the beginning of the stay Janet, the person running knotty pine, provided only 1 towel and 1 rag. We didn't find that to be a problem though we just went out and bought rags and brought in our own towels. Upon check out though I realized that when I did laundry we had packed her 1 towel and 1 rag. When we brought it back she demanded that we give her 2 towels and 2 rags. We explained that there was only 1 rag and 1 towel provided but she firmly believed she had given us 2 of each and therefore we were to hand over 2 of each. So we dug through our laundry in the middle of the parking lot while she watched us to give her not only her linen back but also some of our personal belongings. She also pointed at a blanket in our laundry basket and asked if we had taken that as well. When we said no it was and has been ours she dropped it, but it didn't stop the feeling of embarrassment as neighbors watched us riffle with all of our laundry as she watched. I can understand the mistake but the whole ordeal could have been handled much better than it was. No malice towards Janet, she is genuinely sweet and helpful when I have stayed in the past but this was mortifying.

So thankful for my stay at knotty pines..they truly help me in my stay there..the ownership and management is truly genuine peopke that care...the room service and room cleaning was absolutely amazing...4.5 star

My husband and I had to leave a day early with no refund. We we're harassed by a bunch of drunks and threatened. I reported this to the manager and was told we needed to just look over them because they had to much to drink. Really? This place is nothing but a outdoors night club. They are allowed to walk around and get sloppy drunk. I would not recommend this place to no one and I sure wouldn't take kids there. This was one of the worst places I've ever seen. This place needs to be closed down.

The rooms are tiny with no bathroom door. The bed hard and squeaky. I tried to pay and it took 15 mins to get someone to come out. Nothing good about it except the rooms are not connected

Hard bed. No cable. Had to clean it up before leaving. Bed was 1 mattress on a wooden box. Nice staff. Only allowed 2 people in rooms. Expensive!!
