Knotty Pine Motel - Motel in Salisbury - 79 Beach Rd, USA

Bedbugs and rude staff! I stayed one night. Woke up covered in bedbug bites which I confirmed by seeing a dr. I called to tell them they have bedbugs and was called a liar. I didn’t ask for a refund or anything aside from only let them know they have bedbugs. The man working yelled at me told me I am a liar and told me I don’t have bites. Beware of staying here. It looked clean when I arrived but I definitely have bedbug bites and they absolutely came from the knotty pine in Salisbury Massachusetts. I’m adding photos of only some of the bites for proof. Also I have been treating these bites with prescription medication.

The owner is very nice. Paid first .Went to see the room. First thing SMOKE SMELL. We told him over the phone SMOKE FREE. Hole in the Bathroom drape. Every single window in the room had NO MINI BLINDS. Therefore you can see in. No privacy. We were willing to get a different room,he said ALL THE ROOMS HAVE NO MINI BLINDS. So we never stayed ,went to Hampton and payed a few dollars more,was so worth it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

To be honest I wasn't expecting more than an average experience, but I was quite surprised at how lovely the place was. The pool area is brand new and gorgeous with comfortable lounge chairs and a nice sectional. The room was more clean than some 5 star hotels I've stayed in. The bed was comfortable and the guests other were quiet. The common area at the office had a nice area to relax along with a desk, computer and printer. There was also a large TV and a piano. Clean as a whistle! complimentary coffee and breakfast. The staff was also very nice and helpful. A perfect experience!

THE RECEPTIONIST NAMED 'ISHWAR' WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE PERSON! ||Heater was not working in my room. I called 'Ishwar' for heater, he says, who feels cold in this season. Then he gets me an external heater, which was not working. Next day I call him to ask how does the switch works on heater. He says' why are you complaining me in the evening', you should have complained in the day time. He says 'Heater was working yesterday, what happened today? In reality, heater was not working even yesterday. ISHWAR IS A RUDE DISRESPECTFUL PERSON, who doesn't want to be bothered for any help. If he is not willing to help the customers, why is he working in that place?||The hotel was smelling badly and my body was itching after staying there. ||NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL!

Room is a little small, but the owners are super friendly and were accommodating of my Service Dog (unlike most hotels in the area). At first I thought they were discriminating against me bc my friend got a nicer room than me, but I found out the weekly rooms aren't as nice as the nightly. After finding this out, I am happy with my stay here. I recommend Knotty Pines over Salisbury Inn. The owners make sure you have everything you need here. 💜

Rooms smelled of heavy cigarettes eventhough we were told they are smoke free. Also two ash trays in our room. Used a bottle of air freshner and it did nothing. Makeup was on our towels. Batteries dead in remote, bed felt like a table. The only upside was the water pressure and location.

I visited this place a couple weeks ago with a friend. The room was clean. The owners were pleasant. The pool is really nice. Like most beach hotels around, it could use some updating. But all in all a good place to stay.
