UPDATE I have been here almost 15 months now and have removed two stars. The reason for this is inconsistencies with the management and staff. You can file several noise complaints and call security multiple times and several months go by and then they finally kick the problem neighbor out that was stealing from vacant units and smoking weed that came through the vents. The maintenance staff continues to good a good job but the new system for submitting maintenance requests is not user friendly. Also there is inadequate parking and the lawn care team is constantly blowing yard waste in front of my door and on my car. Also they have a sign at front that says they a check driver license but they do not - they should. That brings me to the next part someone stole my package worth $200 and they did nothing about it. But then they have the audacity to charge $1900 a month and THEN the moment your plate sticker expires they try to tow your car 48 hours later. Thankfully the office has given me an extension. I might add more stars back - we will see. I have lived here going on 4 months now and the amenities, the staff and the maintenance crew are top notch! They have awesome events as well and take great care of the grounds and make sure the residents are happy. They have great customer service and the apartments are so nice!! They have valet trash pick up every week day! I love it here! Super safe and good security too.
I love the place. I was helped by Mr. Austen and from the beginning he went above and beyond to help me and my husband during the application process and making our move a smooth one. He answered all my questions and had A LOT OF PATIENCE dealing with us during the process. It's been a month and so far I love how quiet it is and how clean it is. It feels like a safe community. Thank you Austen for all you did.
I lived here for 2 years and it was a 10/10.. management recently changed and you can’t get on the phone with these people to save your life! And good luck emailing them because you won’t hear back from them either. I was told since I gave a 45 day move out notice instead of a 60 day notice that I would have to pay a months rent ($1940) okay.. no problem… I received an email shortly after I moved out stating I owe $2995. That’s over a thousand dollars more than I was told BEFORE the management company changed. I’ve showed proof via email of the amount I was quoted and still no one has gotten back to me. Very quick to charge someone but can’t even answer the phone. I’m so happy I moved out shortly after management change because these new people are not doing a very good job. The old employees were amazing and always made sure to take care of any issues tenants had quick and efficiently. I can see this neighborhood going downhill very shortly.
Wayne Lalgee was the maintenance guy who came to repair our broken garbage disposal and fix a leak under the sink. He was quick and efficient as well as cordial, we even chatted about how we spent the holidays. He was very respectful of our place and belongings. Everything got fixed in the end, I have no complaints! Excellent service overall!
I'm writing this review to share my less-than-ideal experience at Knightsbridge at Stoneybrook. Having rented numerous apartments in the past, my expectations were high, especially considering the previously excellent management and amazing maintenance team. Unfortunately, the reality has been a series of disappointments. The new management team, which took over mid-lease, has not maintained the standards set by their predecessors. The most pressing issue is the noise from the upstairs neighbors. Despite repeated complaints to the apartment complex and security, no effective action has been taken, leading to continuous disturbances. The apartment itself has several drawbacks. The air conditioning frequently malfunctions, and disturbingly, black mold is growing in certain areas. The bathtub has a concerning caving bump, and the walls are exceptionally thin, hardly muffling any sounds from adjoining units. The parking situation is exacerbated by large metal containers occupying significant space. Although the property's openness is a plus, other aspects diminish the overall living experience. The water from the sinks looks dirty, although the shower's consistent hot water and the fairly nice toilets are appreciable. Ant infestations on the first floor and a gap under the door that allows small animals to enter are concerning issues. The waste management service is another point of frustration. Despite a trash fee, they refuse to take trash over their strict and seemingly arbitrary weight limit, often leaving residents, including myself, to dispose of our own trash. While the apartment features nice big windows and a good washer and dryer, it lacks basic amenities like living room lights or a ceiling fan, available only in the kitchen. The apartment's size is also disproportionate to its cost, feeling extremely small for the price paid. Additionally, the front door is crooked, making closing it a daily struggle. In conclusion, while the maintenance staff continues to be excellent, the overall experience at Knightsbridge at Stoneybrook under the new management has been underwhelming. The array of issues, from noise and maintenance problems to inadequate waste management, significantly detracts from the quality of life. I advise potential renters to carefully consider these factors before making a decision.
I don't live here but I came in to look at the possibility of moving here. The woman in the office was very nice. New management had been here two weeks and are making plans to completely renovate the place, apartments included. Excited to see what it becomes!
Beware. Don’t let the beauty of the property deceive you. This place took around $600 in applications fees and stole our money. They rarely answer the phones or reply to emails. When they do, it’s weeks later. We toured and chose an apartment and paid the fees. They took our money (we have proof via our bank statements) then denied it’s in their system and gave the apartment to someone else. They then offered a different apartment and still claim not to have our money even though they have our bank statements showing they withdrew the money. It is a disaster over there. They blame everything on the “new system.” Bottom line is they are scammers and thieves. *UPDATE* After posting this and having our bank contest the money this apartment staff took but claimed not to have, the staff magically found the invoice and issued a refund. Still no one should have to go through what we did. Bottom line, they are untrustworthy with your money, unreliable, and near impossible to reach.
