Simple and affordable as hotels used to be. Nothing fancy, just what you need after a long day of travel and/or work. The room is small, but clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Close (but not too close) to the major highways. Owners/staff are outstanding. They're extremely friendly and helpful.

Positive: It is conveniently located in South Sioux City. It is Central to everything in Sioux City. Negative: My one major complaint is that the staff is not present at the front desk 24 hours a day. My key card stopped working and I was locked out of my room. I rang the doorbell and called the front desk number multiple times with no response. Negative: ""

Worn but clean, functional room. Mine had fridge and microwave but no coffee. Sports channels include Big 10 network. Don't count on the continental breakfast. Easy access from US 20.

It was weird getting into the lot, but after you're out of the car, everything else is pleasant. The staff is kind, patient, and generous. Price is affordable. There is a 100 dollar deposit that you get back when you check out.

I had the feeling I was not in a great part of town when I stayed here. People were hanging out in the parking lot, watching us haul our gear in, it made me uneasy. It was not terribly dirty (at least our room wasn't), but definitely needed some upgrading. I don't expect the Hilton for the price, but I have stayed in many other motels for the same price that were in much better shape. Could not figure out where the breakfast was, if there was even any. Pool was not in operation, from reading other reviews it sounds like it never is, so they need to stop advertising that they have a pool. Funny, the ice machine on the first floor is STILL busted, and I had just read reviews as old as 2012 that stated the same thing. Time to get a new one maybe? Only had to stay one night but I definitely wouldn't stay again, or for any longer. And yes, the train goes all night. Our AC was very loud and when it came on would come in with a BANG! then go off and drip for several minutes. I will say the staff was very friendly though.

Budget hotel. Room was clean, showers hot. Manager was friendly. My only complaints are that the Wi-Fi does not work on the back side of the hotel. Hardly had any service and unfortunately Sioux City area we were without phone data as well. No Wi-Fi at the hotel was a let down and not as advertised. Also, our keys did not work on the outside door, we had to walk all the way around each time. Huge inconvenience. We were also charged a $50 hold, which is not advertised anywhere on the website nor informed when we called to confirm our reservation days prior. Other than those 3 things, this hotel is perfectly fine for budget travelers!

This motel should have more stars. After a long motorcycle ride in heavy rain, I just needed a room. It was clean, well kept, and quiet. The breakfast was good and the staff were very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The same room would cost twice as much if it were on the interstate. I'll stay here again next time I'm riding through this area.

very kind people behind desk. room was clean. water is lime calcium in area. good hot water and quiet. would stay again without hesitation. no vending machine but soda available from front desk for fee. A Subway sandwich and Chinese take out across street. Transportation in area is limited to Taxi or Bus.
