Customer service was very friendly at check in. Rooms a ok. Nothing fancy or extravagant but clean and comfortable. I'd stay again when in town.

Clean, friendly, convenient, and under-appreciated! I am a local, and my air conditioner went out just as a heat dome settled over MO. I have two small, older dogs and had to start looking for a place to stay where I could have my boys. I had definitely overlooked this place. Chose to come here because I could afford to stay here through the very hot days, and I was left with a good impression when I called to ask about pets. After arriving, I was impressed at every turn, and SO glad I chose Knight's Inn. The rooms have a front door and a door that opens into a court-yard like common area. This was PERFECT for quick trips outside with the dogs, we did not have to walk across the parking lot or be near any cars at all. When we did go out the front, the dog park is just across the street. The helpful, welcoming phone call was typical of the friendliness of staff throughout my stay. So nice to smile and wave at the owner and their family when I was in the courtyard with my dogs. It's a nice vibe to feel a part of the little community during my stay. Rooms are HUGE, plenty of room to play and work. The interiors/fixtures are clean and well-maintained. Old, yes, but I find the bathroom mid-century modern cabinetry pretty cool. Easy access to the universities and downtown. Highly recommend!

Staff was so friendly and helpful. After our stay they found my purse in the parking lot in the rain and called immediately. The room was super clean and spacious. We WILL be staying here every time we come to visit. It's a tad outdated but we don't need that. It's a basic room with no frills but it was comfortable. Our stay was a very pleasant surprise. For the price we were expecting a different experience. Lol

For the price, I'll call it the best motel in the area. Service was excellent and rooms were comfy and clean. Only gripe I have is some of the mattresses were way too hard for my back. Other than that it was perfect, as I was rarely there because I was there for a job we had.

The front desk lady was very nice! Our room was very clean and smelled nice! Didn’t see any bed bugs in our room. My boyfriend even said the coffee in the room was good!! The location was kind of odd as it right next to an another hotel and shared a drive way with another hotel.

Room was cold enough we wore coats for 3 hrs before room warmed up enough we could remove coats. Bathroom had no heat available. No coffee in room, no breakfast as advertised, Outside individual door entry to our room. Although it did serve the purpose for sleeping.

Clean older motel with HUGE Rooms perfect for coming up a day early to move teen in for college the next day. This way stuff doesn't get stolen from car overnight and you don't have to haul a ton of stuff down a hallway or elevator since door faces parking lot spaces. New tub, toilet, sink, walls freshly painted, carpet clean. Mini fridge big, clean and cold. Wooden furniture is worn with Knicks etc but hey 50% cheaper than next door hotel. Beds are Firm (also have mattress covers on them under the sheets which is nice). No breakfast (54 Diner like 4 min away is good for that). Takes awhile for little newer air conditioning to get room cool but OK in couple hours.

It's right off of business 63 on south end of town. It's about 1 mile south of Truman state. There are better quality places near by, but if everything else is full knights inn is a great last resort option.

Gyro is the best I have had anywhere. Wife had a chicken sandwich thing, she liked it. Both of us had fries. We also had the baklava. That was just okay. I come here every time I am in Kirksville.

Great deals. Clean store. Don't like self checkout but they do have one person to check out.
