Booked a room through a third party and drove 2 hours to get there after Hurricane Beryl.... they had no reservation and no rooms, despite my having heard the operator on the phone with them confirming room availability and reservation. We were exhausted and very disappointed, and they did not offer any assistance. Just turned us away. I contacted my cc to contest the charges they had already made on my account. Truly, the location was terribly old and shabby and not my first choice... but in a hurricane you take what you can get. They handled our need extremely poorly. I will not go back.

If you are looking for a room with a third world vibe, this is your place. This is probably the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. There was black mold in the bathroom, the sheets did not appear to be cleaned, the pool in the back of the hotel is filled up with dirt and there is an abandoned beat up car behind the office, I saw someone getting ice out of the icemaker and I wanted to go have you ever heard of the term listeria?! The pillows were like flat pancakes, the only thing that was good about this place is that it is off the freeway. That is it oh and there cable television offering wasn’t bad

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Motel! We were left stranded by this motel after Hurricane Beryl. At 1:00 PM, we called to check for room availability, and a girl named McKenna answered. She promised us a room for my family and me, so we booked it within minutes. We called back immediately to confirm our reservation, and McKenna assured us that we had a room and were all set. However, when we arrived around 8:00 PM that night, the front desk lady informed us that our booking had been canceled, and they had neglected to call us. All other hotel and motel options within two hours of Houston were fully booked. They are registered with the BBB (Better Business Bureau), if you have a bad experience with this motel feel free to let them know. Terrible management and communication. No empathy. Save your money and stay elsewhere. UPDATE: Don't believe their response. The manager was not present but was available by phone while I was in the lobby and showed no empathy for my situation. I was told that the manager/owner AJ canceled my reservation but neglected to notify me because they "didn't have a phone number for me" (even though I booked through Expedia, which requires a phone number). This is a terrible business and a shady place.

Dirty and lacking any effort to maintain. Hair on the towel of previous guest. Hair on the bathroom floor. Toilet paper holder fell off wall. Hair dryer did not work and I couldn’t get a replacement. No way would I ever stay here again and will not recommend. Find somewhere else.

Positive: The only thing I liked about the hotel was the location. Negative: I only liked the location. The room, window, bathroom, curtains and bed looked dirty. There were finger prints on the window. The room had a smell. There was a huge spider in the sink. Negative: ""

Please let me save you a nightmare of an experience. In all the decades of travel, including to a variety of third world countries, this was hands down the worst motel I have ever visited. My family and I were trying to escape power outages from recent hurricane and thought Brenham would be our answer. Theresa the receptionist, I use that term loosely, was unconcerned with the fact that we booked online and she could not find our reservation. She charged me again even though I booked online. She told me to go stay somewhere else--which we did. I eventually got a refund. Crickets in bathtub, mold on walls, drugs outside of our room, plates of cat food and stray cats roaming around.

The receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive when a simple question was asked. When the staff present themselves that way when owner is not available it says a lot about how they value their customers The room rate was good but would never stay at hotel again or refer anyone to it. Too many other hotels will appreciate your business.

It was great resting thank you so much they gave me a razonable price , we didn’t have any power at home for the hurricane beryl’s I had my babies with me and seeing their faces so happy was everything for me thank you so much great service 🙂
