I had heard good things about this place for the last few weeks so I had high expectations. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious! The fish was so fresh, the rice was soft and flavorful. I took my mom out for her birthday and we both highly enjoyed our food. The drinks were also amazing! She got the Spiced Tamarind drink and especially enjoyed it.
There weren't any napkins or chopsticks on our table even after our entrees were delivered so we had to ask but we were quickly given them after that! They also are not taking reservations right now which I didn't know until I called to make one and was told they were first come first serve. So just a heads up since it's a small and popular restaurant!
All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend it! Our personal favorites were the Buttered Scallops and the Hamatchi Toro Nigiri, but everything was incredibly flavorful, unctuous, and lovely.
We have been wanting to try this since long before the place opened. Finally made it last night and we were not disappointed! It was warm, very friendly staff, fresh and delicious sushi, and a full bar with fun drinks. We will definitely be back and may even become ’regulars’! John, the owner, was very friendly and made our experience more enjoyable. We highly recommend the John’s old fashioned. Delish!!
Recently opened in Lake Stevens and had good reviews. So that convinced us to pay this place a visit. Small place with a bar but with good aesthetics. We had couple of mock tails which were good, followed by chicken karaage and couple of sushi rolls. We were three and that was sufficient and went for one more and didn’t have space for desserts. It looks like the place closes by 8; so check out before going, in case you decide to go there after 8. Couple of items’ prices was more in the bill than what was on the menu. Informed the waitress and she had it corrected. Food and service was good and we will definitely go there again.
I had the pleasure of attending Kiyama Sushi’s soft opening in Lake Stevens, and it showed great promise for what’s to come. Despite the limited menu, the quality of dishes served was impressive.
Pricing was fair, considering the attention to detail and the quality of ingredients. It’s clear that Kiyama Sushi is invested in providing a memorable dining experience for their patrons.
Kiyama Sushi’s soft opening in Lake Stevens was a delightful introduction to what promises to be a standout dining destination. With a dedication to quality and a passionate staff, I’m excited to see how they grow and expand their offerings in the future.
Super cute place, date night or friends dinner vibe. Food was delicious, but wish there were more roll options. Service was great, super friendly and attentive! Little over priced though. Definitely recommend and would come again. Wasabi is strong and fresh, drink was tasty and pretty, rolls were perfect, no complaints.
Kiyama’s food is TOP notch!!! For food, we ordered the Samurai Chicken, Butter Scallops, the Spider Maki, and Sana special maki rolls. For drinks, we got the Empress Spring cocktail and the Yuzu Razz mocktail. Every dish tastes so fresh, delicious, and is very well plated. The drinks are refreshingly good. The staff are also super attentive and friendly. We are so glad to have found such a great sushi place in Lake Stevens.
This will be our new favorite sushi bar from now on!
I accidentally saw it on Google Maps and ordered some takeout, but we totally fell in love with the food so we came back for a late night dinner. Not only this place is so cozy, but the food is also so delicious. Everything is super clean, and the service was fantastic! We met one of the owners and he is the absolute sweetest person too. Will be coming back here a lot more often , i can’t believe we lived 10 minutes away from it, and didn’t know what a hidden gem it was.
Loved every single item we ordered, but the butter scallops and the crepe cake is what will always bring me back ha !
I had a lot of fun here and may have ordered too much food for my own good. But the food and atmosphere here are amazing. It’s tough to pick just one or two favorites.
If you force me, the spider roll really stands out. I don’t typically have good experience with fried and tempura rolls, the fried crab just MELTS in your mouth. It’s not over fried to the point it hurts your mouth, and they crab flavor comes out nicely.
The Samurai’s chicken wings are good too, but it’s the spider roll I miss going to bed at night. Everyone should give it a try.

I started my pole journey about 6 months ago and it has been life changing. Never in my life have I been this strong. I did competitive sports for years when I was younger and I consider my self athletic, however I've never been able to do a pull up,
