The was the perfect impromptu stop. Popped in to stretch our legs during a long trip and we're instantly charmed by how well this local attraction was curated. From colonial artifacts to personal accounts in recent history, we were impressed. The kids loved the scavenger hunt because it was just challenging enough to keep them searching. Thank you to the staff!
How does this google know I was there on Saturday? I actually volunteer there so how can I not give us a 5 star rating?
Very well done small maritime museum focusing on Maine's maritime history. Easy parking.
Delightful museum and docents. Special historical collection. Thank you.
Easy close parking. Great amount of history for a small place.
Watch the video at the museum first. Wonderful local history. Brings the rest of your Kittery visit to life!
I honestly don't know remember how much this cost to enter. We actually arrived about 15 minutes before they closed not realizing it. So, the lady let us check it out for a few minutes while they're open. She didn't charge us because we're so close and she was a freaking sweetheart. I definitely plan on going back to spend more time to check it out. I definitely suggest coming in seeing the different stages of Maritime history
This place is a lot smaller than I expected but since it's specific to the city I guess that makes sense. Had a cool historical log cabin that was discovered recently and showed how they lived back then. Also, they had a massive fresnel lens from one of the lighthouses which was beautiful. It took us only about an hour to go through here and most of it is reading so it wouldn't be enjoyable to young children.

Had a great stay at The Water Street Inn. Rooms were excellent and self check-in/check out was a breeze. I enjoyed feeling as though we had the house to ourselves. Plenty of parking onsite and the staff we interacted with throughout our stay were
Love the food here! It's hard to find a good place for ramen unless your in Boston so when I found out this place was right outside the shipyard where I work I was ecstatic. The broth and noodles are always amazing and there so many good options to c

YES! JUST YES! Freshest, tastiest seafood! Easy and expeditious ordering/return time. We waited less than 10 mins for the goodness we ordered. A little pricey but worth it, I promise. Situated just off the road from the mall. We sat on the bench in f
When Pigs fly is part bakery part bar/restaurant. One door out front leads to the bakery, the other the interior restaurant. There's also a grass island outside (you see it when you drive up) where you can sit. That's where I always sit when weath
Seapoint is a wild beach with no amenities (no lifeguards, bathrooms, etc). Parking is very limited as this is primarily a town beach. Itâs very beautiful however and many people take their dogs here to run.
This is a small cute diner. Their Egg Benedict is amazing. Service is quick and they are reasonable. Not much wait to get a seat. The diner is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and very sweet. Satisfying brunch on a Sunday afternoon. O
Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and tasted great. We definitely need to go here more often. In addition to great food and great service, it's nice not to have to deal with the downtown Portsmouth weekend congestion. This is becoming one
It's rare that I'd review a fast food or mass-produced ice cream place but I have to say that every time I've been to this DQ I've been shocked at how GOOD the food is! I'm not sure if this is true of all DQ's, but as fast food goes this is so above
