Simple food but delicious. And their coffees are amazing! Our server was Levi and he was awesome! Highly recommend. We will be back again in the future.

Kite & Key is as innovative with their homey mom & pop casual breakfast diner as Benjamin Franklin was for their namesake. A concise yet rich menu offers a choice collection of breakfast items done well. I enjoyed their traditional Eggs Ben(edict) while my mother had a delicious omelet. The two dishes we ordered were both obviously prepared with love. They nailed the hollandaise sauce on mine and kept her omelet light and fluffy. I tried their chorizo and potato soup of the day and found myself pleasantly surprised by it as well. If you are looking for a place to stop in for breakfast - give them a try!

This is one of my favorite "mom and pop" places in Evansville. Ms. Jenny is absolutely amazing in the coffee shop. Her customer service is definitely why I keep coming back. I have had everything on the menu, and this place has never disappointed. My favorite however is the farmhouse breakfast

We were in town visiting family for Christmas and decided to spend our last morning together at the Kite & Key. We brought a large party including 5 children to this little establishment. Once we got our table, service was fast and friendly. All the staff were so kind and helpful with menu questions. Everything we ordered was delicious! Thanks!

After putting in our order we waited over an hour to get 2 breakfast burritos. The waitress did her best but she was the only one on shift. No space to breath. Tables are on top of each other. The food was hot but lacked flavor.

This is the only place in town that cooks breakfast food to my standards. There is occasionally a wait, which is fine; my wife and I go here to eat and talk and enjoy our weekend mornings. We aren't ever in a rush. Quality takes time. I can't recall a single meal we've shared here that didn't meet expectations. I'm currently on a Country Ben kick (poached egg on a biscuit smothered in gravy), but no matter what you order, you gotta get a side of their German potatoes. Sauteed with onions, they're crispy and buttery and always a treat. The building is small and homey, but there's outdoor seating and a coffee patio around back should you desire some breathing room. I'll repeat: you'll most likely have a wait. It usually takes 10-15 minutes to be seated, and another 25-35 before seeing food, so order a coffee and enjoy your company. If you've got a slow, sunny morning free and want some excellent food, this is your place.

Been here several times in the past few years. It's mine and my wife's breakfast place for our breakfast dates. Food ranging from bacon and eggs to a chicken sandwich. Whole menu all day which is cool. Problem with that, is the corned beef hash and eggs is my go-to so I don't try too much else. I'm hooked! Nice little cozy Cafe seats about 40-50. Coffee bar available as well. On nice warmer days we sit on the patio and enjoy the weather. Waiter today went above and beyond running the front room like it's nothing. I have never had a bad experience here which is why I will keep coming back.

Was told this place was pretty good for breakfast but don’t really feel like the wait was worth the food we got.. and also what we paid for, $62 including the tip for 3 people.. our kid was happy and enjoyed his meal but me and my boyfriend left unsatisfied.. server was okay but it was busy, crowded, and multiple tables that sat after us got their orders taken first and food first.
