The menu is limited, but the food tastes so good!! I had chicken & rice, which is amazing. They cooked the rice just perfectly. I had beef samosa, which is also delectable. The guy who served me food gave me tea for free. Thank you. The tea tastes like sweetened chai. The place looks humble, but the service is really good.
Food was really good here. I had the chicken and rice. It was very tasty and did not leave me feeling heavy. I appreciated the kind service as they made me feel very welcomed. I definitely recommend coming here again! My friend who is also a vegetarian enjoyed his coconut stew and rice. This place deserves all the praise!
This is the best food in Burlington. I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years and they never fail to impress. They have always made me feel right at home here. I always feel like I’m getting a home cooked meal.
The reviews don’t lie, if you’re in the area, get some food at Kismayo! We stopped here on a whim after a hike in the area around 4pm and they were already slinging take out orders. We both got the chicken and rice. We were there just a little too early for samosas, but he said they’d likely be ready on our way out. Once we had our food, he brought two chicken samosas right over! The food was fresh and made with love. He even gave us some of the tea to try on the way out (it’s as amazing as everyone says). This was our first time trying Somali food, but it definitely won’t be our last.
Delicious food! We stopped here on a weekend trip to Burlington and it was such a good decision. Very friendly and welcoming staff and great food. We ordered the chicken and rice, and the beef with noodles.
Kismayo Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in all of Burlington. Not only do they have the tastiest food, but also the staff is incredibly friendly and inviting, they are what make this place above and beyond. Thank you for everything Kismayo!
This is the best place ever. I have been coming here for the past 4 years, and they have never failed to blow my mind. Amazing food better people
visting Burlington from Montreal, and found a bunch of local redditors recommending this family owned restaurant. first time tasting Somalian food and it was delicious! the staff were so kind! coconut curry, chicken on rice and the samosas ( beef , chicken & veg) tasted so good, you can definitely taste the love in the flavour. this place has a homey feeling - lots of love. we ordered the steak sandwich to go as a midnight snack as we drove back to montreal. 100 stars out of 5 staff also gifted us the tea for the long drive - wow so milky and lovely - very heartwarming!

We stopped by here for fuel prior to our long 8 mile hike. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every single dime. We got the breakfast sandwich, one with avocado. The harissa provided an extra kick of flavor. It absolutely provided us the fue
