I will never eat at another sushi place again, especially in this area ! Kisetsu is the real deal. The fish is EXTREMELY fresh and the best quality I have had in a number of years. The service is superb and the owner Joel and team bring a fun vibe while in a nice cozy setting. I can't say enough about how good the food is here and a bonus is the affordable price points ! My friend who doesn't historically eat sushi now eats sushi after eating here! We can't wait to come back very soon. Thank Joel and team for such a great experience !

The year of the Rabbit started with a Grand surprise. Today, January 24, is my birthday and my beautiful daughter invites me to this Wonderful location. She ask, "do you want sushi", "because I know a place." A 13 minute drive and we land at a memorable Sushi bar. To our surprise, behind the Sushi bar, Penn & Teller...this dynamic Duo made these sushi dish appear and we made it disappear.... Joel and Reggie are the Best ....take a look at the few photos I took. You won't be Disappointed.... Visit this Sushi destination...Cheers!

My friend and I had a lovely lunch here. My friend is a very picky eater, so it was great to see her enjoy everything and eat heartily. And I enjoyed everything I had as well. We each had a lunch special. The service was very good and the owner is friendly and welcoming. There's lots of easy parking. We will be going back.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The quality of the sushi/sashimi was superb. This place doesn't have a million cut rolls, like other sushi restaurants. Instead, they have a "specials" board that highlights the various cuts of fresh fish they are serving that day. The only aspect of the restaurant I didn't enjoy was the brightness of the interior lighting. I felt like I was at the dentist, with a light shining in my face! The service was quick and friendly. I will definitely be going back!

This is a surprising sushi gem in the IE. I never expected such great sushi in the area. This place can go head-to-head with any place in Gardena or Torrance. Chel Joel is entertaining, friendly and knowledgeable. He has fish you can’t get anywhere else, and it’s expertly selected. I no longer have to drive far to get good sushi, you will not be disappointed!!

Chef Joel and chef Junya will blow your mind! Their fish ranges from unique flavors/pairings to classic tastings. They really take pride in what they do, and focus on making sure the customer is happy. Food: Anago was my favorite! I got two orders because it was so yummy. Their sauce is made in house and the sushi is served warm. It melts in your mouth and you'll feel like you're in clouds, or living in a beautiful bento box. Uni is also very fresh. Price: The price is written on the blackboard, so you won't be surprised with the bill. Their pricing is very fair. Sit at the bar if you can! Chat with the chefs so they can tailor foods to your palate. I'll be back.

I was s little worried when ownership changed from Hayato and was renamed Kisetsu. However, those concerns where misplaced. The new owner and sushi chef are amazing. Fish is incredibly fresh and the white board specials are a must order. When we stopped in, this included monkfish liver and amberjack, which were both amazing. The three item combinations are delicious and a good value (esp when feeding teenagers). For the quality, this place is a bargain. Whenever I'm near Claremont, this is a required stop.

Our go to dumpling place is in the same shopping center. There was a line tonight so we decided to go here. So thankful to have tried this place. The food was excellent and the service was great. Perhaps our new go to!
