Friendly service, same person was there when I checked out as when I checked in, but I was at the hotel a total of 7 hours. I was a bit off put by the smoke smell in the stairway as I made it to my nonsmoking floor. Room had a smell of being a room where smoking was allowed in the past. After a few minutes, the smell did not bother me and I slept like a rock. The beds were comfortable for the 6 hours spent sleeping. I was out in no time.

Clean, modern and well maintained (mattresses needs replaced). No microwave or refrigerator in room (not a big deal for me because I usually unplug due to noise). No waffle griddle . Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.

Very bad lumpy mattress that you could feel the springs. Don't take room 212 as the automatic door opens and closes and rumbles through the room all night. Pillows are old and should be thrown away. The heating system did work as it should. One thing I enjoyed was lots of TV stations first time in my last six hotels that had more than 15 breakfast is okay but eggs and bacon we're not prepared the best. No fresh fruit no yogurt that's about it Dry Cereal.

A very friendly and helpful staff. A nice, clean room. The bed was comfortabless enough with a mixture of good supportive pillows and some that your head goes straight through the pillow and bounces off of the bed. Overall a good stay. I'll be back if I'm in Kirksville again.

Overall stay was okay. Little pricey for a Monday night in Kirksville. Would have been nice to have fridge in our room. Ice machines on first and second floor weren't working. Breakfast in the morning was better than most.

Only had one problem and it was a rather concerning one. The housekeeper knocked on the door and we said we didnt need anything right then. So then she knocks again and again. She then tries to open the door and luckily the deadbolt was locked. She then said, "can you please just let me in to clean your room?" I was kind of shocked really. I thought what in the world could be that big of a deal that you couldn't come back a little later. No other times have I ever had this issue and she is extremely nice but when a guest says no then that should be accepted regardless of what you feel. I typically always let them in when they need to come in and usually leave the room so we are not in their way but that morning I was not going to. Outside of that the rooms are always very clean and the staff are very friendly and willing to help with whatever you request.

The hotel was easy to find, front desk attendant was friendly and professional. The rooms were well kept up and had great water pressure for shower and fixtures. Only complaint was there was no fridge for water or food to be kept in the room.

The best hotel in Kirksville. We have stayed here many times. The rooms are very clean as is the hotel in general. The hot breakfast is very good. Cinnamon rolls are excellent and they provide boxes so you can take them to go.

My wife and I stayed here two nights. It was wonderful. Great staff, great room, wonderful experience!! There was a horrible thunderstorm and flash flooding and we didn't even know because the place was essentially sound proof. We would stay again!

Gyro is the best I have had anywhere. Wife had a chicken sandwich thing, she liked it. Both of us had fries. We also had the baklava. That was just okay. I come here every time I am in Kirksville.
