Pretty cool place. Would stay again, but bring a ladder to get into bed. 😅 And I would not annoy the ghost that kept opening the wardrobe door after we hung our clothes in it. It stopped after I made him take the clothes out and hang them on the bathroom hook. Bonus…the breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty and made the room smell fabulous!

First off, there was nobody at the front desk for check in. The owner came to do it, and he said he really wasnt sure what he was doing.|The ad says AC, it was not on during a week of high 70s. with our room on the 2nd floor it was needed. The owner didn't want to turn on, and told my husband to go in one of the ther rooms and find a fan. |The ad offers fresh homemade cookies as a snack, coffee and tea. none of those items were available. |The bed had totally been sprayed with fabreeze. So much so we smelled like it the next morning. Breakfast was to be served at a certain time, we went down and waited. no one in sight, kitchen dark, we knew there was an issue. Owner said oops no one here to cook. Told us to walk down two blocks to the Cafe and show them our key and they would charge him. |when we arrived, going up to our room, we noticed a room with an unmade bed. The next morning the owner asked us if we had changed rooms thru the night. we told him it was like that when we arrived.|Not a good experience for our very first B&B!

While going through some things I inherited from my mother's side of the family I found some really old photos of the Inn, and probably photos of my kintner family in the inn that are really really old. my great GMA Ann kintner had saved all the stuff but I never met her husband but I wonder if there is some family that would be interested in some of the photos

We travel often and stay in different hotels, however, this is by far one of the best Inn experiences we have had! We had plans to explore Indiana Caverns and needed a place to stay for the weekend. This place is absolutely lovely. Full of interesting history and most importantly, CLEAN! it was legit, squeaky clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning and checking out their other rooms.

Wife and I decided to come back here for nostalgia, as we honeymooners here years ago. It is a unique historical experience and the staff we great. The breakfast was outstanding! I think my disappointment is with the ownership/management. The rooms and building need basic repairs and maintenance. And the frustrating thing is most the repairs needed are basic building maintenance that any handyman could do, and turn this into a great experience. Some exmples...when we got to our room, my wife was excited it had a fireplace (gas)...I fiddled with it for a while then asked the front desk and was told it probably doesn't work. The wallpaper in the bathroom was literally falling off the wall, the bathroom light had different types/color of light bulbs, that even my wife said "that is weird"...the TV has two remotes, but no instructions on which does what....I figured it out, but how hard is it to have a cheat sheet in the room?! The ceilings in both the room and bathroom had water stained areas ( a little paint can fix that!) Breakfast was great, but their strict 8:30am "breakfast" is for a different era. We wanted to get going on our day, but we paid to have a breakfast, so we waited it out. I don't understand that one, but instead of catering to the customer, they force the customer to abide by their rules. I guess I look at it this way...if you are going to be the most expensive Hotel in the area,(and they are!) you better be the best.....sadly the negatives are starting to outweigh the experiential factor....

Just stayed here for a girls weekend with aunts and my cousin- five of us in two rooms. The inn put an extra bed in one room- it was quite nice, not too small or narrow. Breakfast was really great- the day we checked in we asked if there’s be something for two vegetarians in our party and they whipped up a veggie quiche for the next morning! We very much enjoyed the coffee and cookies throughout the afternoon and evening. There is a comfy parlor where we are able to sit and chat and play cards. The house itself is really interesting and they do a nice job of showing its history. The owners and innkeepers were all hospitable and kind. It is right in the heart of Corydon’s Main Street area, with a coffee shop and restaurants and several vintage/antique stores. Also a short drive from Turtle Run vineyards (which has a fantastic spring-autumn concert series!). We loved it!

Stayed here in a honeymoon suite with my wife the night we got married. The room was great and had everything we needed. The lady that greeted me when I checked in was very welcoming and gave me a tour of the whole house. There was only one other couple staying there at the time, so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

I have continued to go to Corydon because it is quaint and historic. The Kitnner house takes you back to the Victorian era. Each room contains history. Most importantly I come back to see Dana the manager. She makes my vacation get a ways fabulous. Please spend some time with her, she brings the personality that I Makes the entire stay feel like home.
