Kinsman Lodge - Featured Reviews (43)
For many years my friend spoke about the Kinsman Lodge, this weekend I had the opportunity to experience it. It was everything and more! The home is clean and very welcoming, it's a perfect place for a relaxing weekend away. The rooms are good size with comfy beds and good linens. Bathrooms are shared with other guests, which never was an issue. Waking up to the smell of breakfast in the air and freshly cooked muffins gave the already homey Inn the feeling of visiting your grandparents home!|Views and location both excellent, near Cannon Mountain, Littleton and Bethlehem. Fully enjoyed my visit!|
Home stlye, cosy inn. Great breakfast. Not a fancy place but very confortable. Sue is a friendly, wonderful inn keeper. Located perfectly outside of Fraconia and Cannon Mountain. So great base for hiking, skiing and sightseeing.
This autumn I spent two long weekends in a row here. It's close enough to the Vermont border that I was able to tour the Northeast Kingdom in addition to my usual jaunts through the White Mountains. The hospitality was fantastic as usual, as were the wonderful breakfasts. I always meet great people here from other parts of the U.S. as well as Canada and Europe. The owner Sue is a treasure. This is a very popular inn that has special rates for solo travelers and also allows dogs.
Kinsman Lodge is amazing. A place that makes you feel at home. Sue is an angel. A warm, sweet soul that is endearing with every conversation. Place was clean, room was good sized, location was serene and peaceful. We loved Sue's breakfast in the mornings and being able to use the kitchen to cook some of our other meals. We would definitely come back:) We hope to see Sue next time we come back and hope the inn stays in the family for future generations to come! Worth every penny and more. Would go back to sitting on the wrap around porch with the hummingbirds buzzing and Sue telling us stories about her husband and family anytime.
This place is a little slice of heaven. Sue’s warm hospitality, waking up to the smell of an amazing breakfast cooking, and being in a central location in the white mountains. I plan to come back many many times!:)
Fantastic experience earky august. Clean quiet accommodation and great made to order breakfast filling enough for high peaks climbs. ||Sue is so helpful and grateful for your stay and makes you feel like home. This is our new go to place for future White Mt visits. Easy trip to Lincoln or Bethlehem or Littleton for food choices. ||Highly highly recommend!
I look forward to staying here every fall, and my expectations are always met. Great room, price, breakfast, hospitality, location, and views. (And it was peak foliage, luckily!). I watched the full Hunter's Moon come up over Cannonball Mountain and saw some great sunrises. The poet Robert Frost's summer home is only a few miles away, there's a new brewery in Franconia Village named after the nearby Iron Furnace, there's the famous Polly's Pancake House in Sugar Hill, there are great hiking trails within walking distance, and the airport down the road offers scenic glider rides. And of course, there are all those fantastic mountains! The owner Sue is the nicest innkeeper I've met in all my travels, and that's saying a lot.
The most amazing experience at this beautiful lodge. It's located at an amazing location in the woods and trails are very close from here. Sue is an amazing host and her warm hospitality made us feel at home. The homemade breakfast is absolutely delicious, especially the cupcakes. Definitely going back.
