STAY HERE!!! The rooms are adorable and extremely clean. The bed, pillows and linens are all super comfy. The food is AMAZING!! Every single employee we came into contact with was kind, professional, and helpful. So many photo ops inside. I have zero complaints. HIGHLY recommend!!!! Location is ideal if you’re looking to do garden of the gods, pikes peak, cave of the winds.
Hotel is super modern and beautifully decorated. The rooms and small yet perfect size for what we needed. The mattress was SO comfortable! Staff was so friends and inviting. The lobby and outdoor space were great. Great coffee shop right across the street and blocks away from all the restaurants . Highly recommend .
First of all - let me say that this hotel is more upscale hostel than upscale hotel. That's an important distinction - because it speaks to all the things it's not, that one might expect in a hotel stay. And there is nothing online that would reveal this.
Though I didn't give the service high marks, I will say the staff is very friendly and kind. There just aren't very many of them - no valet, no bell service, no concierge, no room service - and cleaning service only every 3 days. And though there seems to be plenty of parking, you still have to pay every night to park your car.
The beds are VERY comfortable - that was the best thing they had going for them. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms are small - though there were 2 of them in our junior suite: two separate small rooms, each with a toilet and sink and one with an added shower. We were assured several times when we booked that we would have the requested bathtub - but no. Apparently someone booked us in the kind of suite that never has a bathtub, instead of the one type of room that does.
Our room had a microwave and minifridge, a LOT of outlets and hooks for hanging things, a small sofa and table with a couple of chairs - but no closet, no ironing board or iron, no safe for valuables.
Just be aware of what you aren't getting if you choose this hotel. It works well for people looking for a clean room, with no frills or extras - just a comfortable bed for overnight for a pricepoint that would make you think you were getting a lot more.
My wife and I took a short trip to Colorado Springs to visit the mountains and see some friends that still live there. We booked this hotel because it looked a little quirky and fun. It was also in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and polite. The room was nice although the cleanliness left a little to be desired. Some of that was handled quickly by the staff and some not. We did not have food while there, it looked very good though, but we did have some cocktails, those were delicious. Overall they were very welcoming and would stay again in the future.
We loved our "family"-style room, with a double bed and four bunks, each of which was very comfortable. Having both a full bathroom and a powder room made sharing the space easy. We ate at the hotel several times (breakfast & dinner) and loved absolutely everything we tried -- which was a lot, as there were five of us. We also found the location convenient for visiting both the Royal Gorge and the Garden of the Gods. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!
First time staying at Kinship. Great hotel overall. It was clean and the room was great. Great view from the room as well. Loved the common area. Parking was also great and accessible. The reason for the 4 star review and not 5 is due to the lack of customer service from the gals working the front desk area during the evening. Not the most welcoming.
We arrived at 8:30 or so and there was an event going on with music playing that was basically shaking the walls (extremely loud) that lasted until 10pm. This was not very acceptable for a hotel and we were anxious to get rest. We asked if we could change rooms but there was nothing they could do. However, the good things were a special handwritten note from the host as well as a very clean and classy room that was comfortable and restful when the music stopped. The bathtub in the king suite was also very enjoyable.
I recently stayed at Kinship Landing l, and it was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived (2am), the staff's warm welcome and exceptional service stood out. The room was luxurious and comfortable, with a plush queen-sized bed and a beautiful bathroom.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, with major attractions just a short walk away. Overall, Kinship Landing exceeded all expectations with its impeccable service, beautiful accommodations, and convenient location. I highly recommend it!
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
