We was referred to try this Jerk Spot---who knew they been open for a few years. Glad I went to try the food it was great! The portions are great for the price. We tried the mixed jerk chicken dinner which included the plantains, cabbage, red beans and rice. I also tried the Mac and cheese so good! And the jerk chicken egg rolls around favorite! Been twice in 1 week and will definitely return. The staff are friendly and welcoming shout out to Shamari and Sasha:)
Wow! Tried Kingston for the first time and it was incredible. Ordered the oxtail dinner with rice and peas with plantains which was outstanding. Ordered jerk tips but they ran out, restaurant called to notify, swapped to jerk chicken and I'm glad the mishap happened! Clearly someone's grandma is in this kitchen throwing down because the tenderness on this chicken don't make no sense. Chef's kiss!!
The store alone is worth the trip. So many things to choose from and items that are not sold in major grocery stores. The prices are reasonable too. The food is cooked really well and has good flavor. I enjoyed the jerk tacos and the jerk tips are the star of this place. Meaty, tender and full of flavor. I had the cabbage, mac and cheese and rice and beans for sides and they were ok, cabbage was the best out of the three. I do have to knock off points, because they forgot to give me the plantains I ordered and in the jerk taco, there were a few, small bone pieces in it, which I didn't appreciate. But overall, this is a place to give a try and if you make jerk at home, there are plenty of items to buy for you.
We love coming here to stock up on Jamaican pantry goods. They have a great selection of spices, seasonings, and sauces. They also serve food now and the lunch was delicious! We had the curry goat and jerk chicken lunches with festival and plantains. The best Jamaican food in the area, hands down! While you are there, definitely try the Patties too! So happy they serve food now!
I'm a Jamaican so I love anything Jamaican lol. Where I live in the US makes it hard to get access to Jamaican products so when I learned of this place, I was excited. I also bought cooked food from the Curried goat which if you have never eaten, you need to try it. I could tell a Jamaican cooked it. I don't need to try everything on the menu to tell they have a good chef. Very delicious and the portion size is very good. I recommend this place for your Jamaican snacks and groceries or just go for the food, that by itself will have you going back.
I ordered the jerk chicken and cabbage with rice and peas and plantain, and a beef patty everything was so delicious! Also the price was great for dinner I ordered and it came with three sides. I will definitely be back. The customer service here is also great too. Everyone is very friendly and my Oder was ready fast as well. Love this place!
Found this place by accident, but I'm sure glad I did! Small market with all the Caribbean essentials plus great customer service. Very clean and organized. Try them out.
Service is terrible, This the second time I ordered from here and they late On having the food ready AFTER giving them extra time, are you going to run the business or mess around? Ordered at 7:11Pm was told 20 mins got there at 7:51pm just for the food NOT to be prepared. Wasted a Whole Uber to get some food to leave with NOTHING. They need people who care about RUNNING THE BUSINESS, how do you get and extra 20 mins and the food still not ready???

Keep in mind I only went for the forest reserve, I didn't have to pay anything because I didn't hold an event here. If you plan to, I would contact the Parks and rec department. But I did have a fantastic 3 hour walk around the woods. Quiet, uncrowde
Had the 8 piece family tray. Loaded with tons of fries and lots of yummy chicken. I did have to try some fries on my way home because they smelled so good. Eddie rang me up and provided excellent service. What a great place to visit! Will definitely
Finally, a food truck that has excellent el pastor! Can't really give them 5 stars for atmosphere but don't want to kill their review... make your own!
Pumpkin's Place is in the heart of Maywood. The atmosphere is what is expected of a carry-out neighborhood "joint". However, the food is great! The Turkey Tips, Rib Tips and chicken wings are so quite delicious. The meat is seasoned well, then t
It's a very decent spot a little hidden compared to the many restaurants around it not to mention the place itself isn't all that to big but it's a good stop if you like Vienna hot dogs burgers Italian beefs basically any foods related to that for ex
