Great food, great people! Pet friendly patio. Had the pleasure of eating at Kingston kitchen on our holiday on the island and the food is delicious! Met the chef as he was going around ensuring everyone's food was good. Very nice gentlemen who made us feel welcomed. Just of the main road but one not to miss if looking for a great meal. Would dine in again.

We had an amazing experience here. Starting with the friendly service, food and atmosphere. We started off with the calamari and were blown away by the flavor. Being from India we like food that is spicy, and has lots of flavor. The food here did not disappoint. I had the whitefish sandwich, which again was nothing like I have had before, lots of flavor and toppings. My wife had the curry goat, I was super jealous, that was even better than my sandwich. This place is pretty close to where the ferry drops you off. It is definitely worth coming here!

I'm visiting Mackinac Island during the off season. So it is admittedly very quiet. One of the few happening places is Kingston kitchen. I've eaten two meals here this weekend and both were fantastic. I must say though I'm especially impressed with the Sunday brunch. It has a fantastic Jamaican flavor and I've tried curry goat, braised oxtail with butter beans, and an absolutely wonderful shrimp and prawns combo. Of course there is all the regular brunch things. There is also an omelette station with the chef himself making omelettes to order. I'm currently enjoying a lobster, sausage, peppers and cheese omelette. It is one of the best I've ever had! If you want traditional breakfast foods course, all of those are on offer as well. I also can't in this review without mentioning the homemade buttermilk biscuits which are to die for. Okay guys! The mimosas are huge! You definitely get your money's worth and they are garnished with fresh fruit. An absolute brunch win! The service has been fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and it's very fun to see the chef himself out interacting with guests. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning anytime I visit Mackinac Island.

This is a great place to stop in and have lunch. The food was delicious, and they had a menu that focused on more traditional Jamaican dishes as well as a general menu with burgers and other "typical" items. The selection of beer and cocktails was reasonable and paired well with the assortment of entrees you could choose from. The service was great and all the staff, especially Fredrina, was attentive and helpful. Although, our group sat inside they do provide outdoor seating which looked like the best way to experience your meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for lunch or even dinner when visiting Mackinac Island.

Sadly disappointed in their Jamaican cuisine. The food was aesthetically pleasing but didn't please our taste buds. I ordered a whitefish sandwich requested off the bun; the fish was soggy. Escovitch fish was also soggy and seemed extra spicy, and it wasn't even snapper. Peas and rice were dry. The onion rings, avacado dip and berry ketchup were good. 4-stars to host and waitstaff, Chantelle C. was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and suggested delicious, non-alcoholic punch drinks.

Wonderful service and excellent food! I have nothing bad to say about this place. Definitely check it out when you’re on the island. The calamari was exceptionally tasty- perfectly crisp and not greasy, plus the jerk aioli was the perfect combination. For my entree I enjoyed the calypso pork sandwich. The acidity in the pineapple relish complimented the warm jerk spiced pulled pork with just the right hint of sweetness. It was just wonderful. The highlight of the whole meal was quite surprising though, it was the ketchup. The “fries” are these delightful thick cut sliced potatoes (almost like a chip) and paired with this lovely unique ketchup. The server said it was their special recipe which included pineapple. It was tangy and sweet and almost a bit jammy in texture.

Amazing! We had a wonderful server and incredible food. The bloody Mary was the best I've ever had. Loved the chicken curry. Sat on the patio with a wonderful view of the carriages. The island was super busy but we were sat quickly and the food came out fast too. We also had the cheese dip which was fantastic. We will be back during our time on the island to try more!!

A Caribbean restaurant on Mackinac? I was so surprised but not as surprised as I was of the delicious food! I am a Jerk Chicken connoisseur. I am always looking for the best. The Jerk here was really good. Especially when you have it with the rice and beans and plantain. Not to be missed. The staff is wonderful also. Highly recommended!
