I recently stayed at this hotel expecting a relaxing getaway, but it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. We booked it primarily because it advertised having a pool, crucial for a scorching late June visit. Upon arrival, we found the pool closed due to maintenance. However, it was obvious that the pool hadn't been operational for quite some time, leaving us feeling misled. The troubles didn’t end there. Our room's door barely functioned, making entering and exiting a daily struggle. Adding to our frustrations, the ice machine was out of order, and there were unsightly cracks in the bathroom sink. The entire room felt unclean and poorly maintained, with visible dirt and grime. The worst part was waking up covered in itchy bites. We suspect bed bugs or some other critters were to blame. It was so bad that we checked out after just one night, despite planning to stay for two. We repeatedly complained to the front desk about these issues. Eventually, a staff member agreed to cancel our second night free of charge, yet now the hotel refuses to cooperate regarding further compensation. This was hands down the worst hotel experience we've ever had. I urge anyone considering a stay here to think twice. It's a dreadful place that’s not worth your time or money

i dont even know where to start.. between the roaches/boogers/nut stains/blood/cigarette butts its kind of overwhelming.. but i paid extra for the "best" room (the quadruple executive or whatever) had to ring the bell and beat on the glass for 20 minutes to get the guy to wake up to check us in.. walk in the room & smacked in the face with the smell of cigarette smoke (i reserved a non smoking room) flip the light on & watched the roaches scatter. this place is unreal! it is disgusting. there is literally boogers all over the walls, nut stains, possibly blood stains? the bathroom door is falling apart, literally everything is broken, looks like mold in the fridge. oh and there was literally a whole a$$ cigarette butt on the couch & mysterious white powder residue on the glass table. so they clearly dont clean it very well, which is funny because they expect you to check out at 10AM!! or you can pay $25 an hour to check out at a normal motel checkout time. (depending on who u talk to) because they told me 15/hr on the phone but 25 was written on the bullet proof glass in the office. id say AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!. i would ask for a refund, but by the looks of this place & the other reviews i doubt they'd give it. im half tempted to go sleep in my car. this is forreal the nastiest hotel i have stayed in & ive stayed in the hotels on skid row. this is BAD!

This place is not a place to stay. Was not happy found BUGS EVERYWHERE and someone else complained to the front and they didn't do nothing about it. Bed bugs roaches. The won't give you money back.

Management is very unhelpful. Took my money, sold me a room with no TV... when online it's says TV and internet, but they were so quick to refer to the nonrefundable room charge when I wanted my money back for false advertisement. 🙄 people of you're traveling from out of town don't go here if you want safe space for family or clean room.

I must admit after reading the reviews on this motel, I was almost scared to book the room. However, I really liked the fact of how the location was convenient to just about everything. I decided to take a chance, so I booked it and I am so glad I did! When we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman who was very nice and friendly. The motel was practically empty with the exception of us and maybe 3 other people renting rooms. We checked in on a Thursday. The room was clean, I didn’t see any bugs like the reviews that I had read about the motel suggested that I would. The water was hot, the linen was clean, the room smelled fresh and you could tell that they were starting to renovate various rooms and also the outside of the motel itself. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom has a shower head but no way to turn on the shower, but other than that, I was thoroughly pleased with this place and when back in Memphis, I will definitely stay here again!!

I booked this very last minute, being without a place to stay due to some unexpected events. The staff were exceptional, going way out of their way to help me and make sure I was comfortable. The room was spotless, bed was comfortable. Good sized fridge, microwave, everything I needed. Under new management from previous reviews. Great value.

Worst place I have ever been. Charged me $70, we checked in at 5 am as we left the hospital and live far and needed to sleep a few hours. We have 3 children. The room smelled of cigarettes smoke, the sheets were stained, the floor was filthy my kids feet turned black after walking around the room. We were desperate as we had a long day and exhausted. I wish I had slept in my car. We left at 8 am, we couldn't even sleep longer. DON'T GO HERE!

The room was clean and bed was comfy. Excellent location, 8 minutes from downtown. Absolutely no bugs of any kind in the room. No coffee facilities unfortunately and we didn't have hand soap in the room. But this was easily requested from the front desk.
