I’ll say this! It’s improved exponentially! But there was not much lower it could go though! But being fair he owners have truly made a sincere effort to make a better stay for the area’s travelers and transients- and that should be commended because many proprietors won’t make an effort! It went from a -6 to +3 ½ which is a low number by many standards, but it’s a high standard under the circumstances so I would say if you’re in a pinch and you need a place to stay it’s very no-frills, but it is not a highlight of this fair city!

They quote you a reasonable price on the phone, but try to raise it when you get there. This is highway fraud. They quote a price of $29.99 on their billboard, but raise it as soon as you arrive. They also demand a cash payment, indicative of fraud.

Kings inn I stayed for a few days to relax . The staff and the owners nice and friendly and less in- expensive . Kings inn is improving and continually strive to destiny greatness . Any hotel I stay over night . I maintain my room and help keep it clean and organized . I treat the hotel room as if it was my house.

My husband and I were at the hotel for 2 days....it was a HUGE improvement from when I last stayed there, about 3 and 1/2 years ago. The rooms are adequate, and I had what I needed and were cleaner than I remember them to be. However, I do wish the towels and washcloths would have been newer and cleaner...Staff was very nice and the lobby was absolutely gorgeous and was definitely the biggest improvement I've seen so far. Smelled amazing, and I just wanted to sit and hang out there because it was so cozy feeling. Lol I didn't see any bugs at all in my room. I would say the only complaint I would have would be the TV didn't seem to have enough channels, and there was one housekeeper that I thought was fairly rude but she was an older lady so I just took it as a normal attitude for a grumpy older lady. I would stay here again and probably will because it really is a cheap alternative.

Conveniently placed walking distance from everything you'd need. Prices are very affordable for a room. Rooms are kept clean and neat. Down side when it snows you may not be able to get your car out for a few days.

Affordable prices and a great place to stay for a quick trip or extended stay. The housekeeper Cindy has really improved the rooms. The front desk girl Kelly is always really nice and helpful and she decorated the office for Halloween which was awesome. The new wall paper behind the desk is really ugly though. Place is in a great location, close to the casino and beach and there are lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Other reviews are old... Place is clean and updated. Room is clean, quite and roomy. Bed is very comfortable and sheets are very clean, no stains or blood spots as other reviews state. No carpet n no bugs! Staff is very friendly.
