King's Hawaiian Bakery & Restaurant - Hawaiian restaurant in Torrance - 2808 Sepulveda Blvd, USA

The moment you walk in, you're hit by the smell of fresh pastries and cakes. Then you turn to look at the dining area, and all of a sudden, you're back in Hawaii. This restaurant is awesome. The ambiance takes you to the islands. The food portions were huge! And the food was tasty. Not to mention the hawaiian sweet rolls you get as a starter, cherry on top. Our waitress was friendly and the food came out fast. There's not much else to say, except that you have to try this place if you've never been!

We had to wait an hour to be seated for party of 8. The food was delicious and the server was very attentive. I really loved the chocolate Mac nut coffee too. We also ordered a cake and some other bakery items after we ate. Everything was delicious.

Love this place! Whenever I’m in the area, I come here and get the fried rice for lunch. Make sure to add an egg for extra protein and flavor. And the staff is always friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food! Been coming with my family for the past 20 years. Still stays busy in the mornings, service is a bit slow, but stays consistent with the laid back island atmosphere! Fried rice is a must try.

The food was terrible. I got the huli huli chicken, which is one of my favourite dishes in Hawai'i. Chicken was greasy, rice was bland, and steamed vegetables were unseasoned and smelled like chemicals as if they were microwaved frozen in a Steamfresh bag. The restrooms were not maintained. I went just to wash my hands and slipped on the floors when exiting. Only positive is that the staff are nice.

Worth the wait. If you are looking for comfort good, this is the place. Everything was good. Come right at 10:45 and wait until 11 to order lunch. It gets packed after 11 on the weekends. Order everything with Hawaiian sausage. Their bakery is amazing. Ube donuts!

King’s Hawaiian is a great option for those who crave authentic Hawaiian style food. Best of these dishes is the oxtail noodle soup. Kids love the breakfast here and spam musubi. It’s been a while since we’ve had stuff from their bakery but I remember it being pretty good, though there is often a line to place your order. Service here is very friendly and there is plenty of parking in the back. It can be crowded so try to get a reservation online or be prepared to wait for a bit. We love coming here as there aren’t many places like this. And yes, the bread rolls are awesome too!
