The motel was conveniently located near my destination, and the check-in process was smooth with helpful and friendly staff. However, the room had a strong smoke odor and felt muggy, which made my short stay uncomfortable. Aside from that, the room itself was fine.
Brought my dad back to Massachusetts to bring him to his resting place so we stayed at the King Phillp. I will never go there again! We were in room # 8. We had a clogged toilet and it got fixed but never cleaned the toilet seat. Had poop on the sides and behind the seat was dirt. There was no coffee pot, 1 trash can, air conditioner was very loud, rug was very gross, pillows were flat and stained badly, no fan vent in the bathroom, bathroom sink falling apart, shower curtain stunk, mold on the bathroom ceiling due to no vent. Always had to go ask for toilet paper. When you go to the office you had to go through the kitchen and the office was in the corner. Just walking through the kitchen is against health code as well as walking in the kitchen to get ice. They charge wayyyyyy too much for such a dump. I regret not reading the reviews and for now on will definitely check them !! Very disappointed!!!!!!!!
I rented a room bc it was reasonably priced and close to family that I was visiting. We got there around 8pm to check in and it was near impossible to find a person to check-in with. All check-in signs lead to a locked door. We had to roam around until we found someone. We were told it was a non-smoking room, yet it smelled like people have been smoking in there for the last 50yrs!!! I woke with such a sore throat from inhaling old smoke all night. (When I left the next day into fresher air my throat felt better; I wasn’t sick.) The room is basic, only 1 nightstand which is difficult when 2 people are in the bed. I had nowhere to put my glasses etc on my side of the bed. The staff left a window open which didn’t have a screen! Talk about mosquitos/bugs. Seems like no one cares at all.
The Wednesday buffet was absolutely amazing ,delicious, great price. The whole restaurant was decorated tastefully with fall/ halloween decor . The staff woman were kind. I'm saddened and shocked that we were the only ones in the restaurant part for buffet at 6pm :( 😞 it's such a good place vs a chain like grill 110.
Very disappointed in our stay. First off, the key didn't work in the door. We had to go get help. The wrong key had been put on thr key ring. No one told us we had to turn the heat up to almost 90 for it to come on. The smoke alarm was missing from the ceiling. The pillows were flat. The rug was dirty, we felt like we could not walk on it with our bare feet. The fixture from an old towel bar stuck out which was unsafe. I asked for a newly remodeled room and we were put in this room. We paid $131!! for this disgusting room #8. I think we should be offered a free room for one nights stay in the newly remodeled section like we asked for Deborah Farrar
Good food head to breakfast brunch.
Treated the wife to Mother's Day brunch. Was seated immediately since we made a reservation the night before. Brunch buffet was a bit pricey st $30 per plate. Food was average, nothing to write home about. Staff was friendly and tables were clean.
Haven't been back for two years because of the pandemic. But finally able to get back fantastic bartender. She's great. And great food. Always a pleasure to stay here. I'll ||be back in October for another business event
