King Hendrick Motel - Hotel in Lake George - US-9, USA

The location was prime. 6 minute drive to down town lake george, 1 minute walk to outlets and 5 minutes to great escape. The room was clean and spacious. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The only draw back was the property itself needed a little love. Oh, and I forgot to mention the pool was clean and refreshing but again the pool area needed a little love. I would 100 percent stay again. And go to the local Rodeo it was a great time! :)

This was absolutely gorgeous and they deserve more stars this was mine and my wife’s first time here and we needed to have a night out and get our spark back. And when we arrived here we were speechless at our little beautiful private cabin (109) beautiful interior and design inside all freshly new modern front porch chairs table. The pool was private and taking care of our view out back was gorgeous the mountains were gorgeous. Can’t forget the sky fills with stars at night Cant be more satisfied and we got our spark back this is our new spot and we will be back a lot very highly recommend

If you are expecting a quaint cabin ideal, I highly suggest you find another accommodation. The only reason I'm not giving this a one star review, is because the owner moved us from a room without AC to a room with it. The first room was covered in dust, had dead bugs throughout, and left the bottoms of your feet black with dirt. The second room was "brand new" with nails sticking out of surfaces which I bent in to prevent injury, but it had AC which was necessary with the 90+ degree heat. The advertisement says, "pet friendly", but you will be paying an extra $50 a night for this and it is not advertised anywhere until you show up to check in. If you look at other reviews, the owner charged $30 at one point so it seems this price changes on a whim. For the two nights we were there, there was a man who was yelling obscenities and waking us up at 4:30AM the first night and 2:30AM the next night in a neighboring room. The first night after he woke us up, I immediately went over to the man to talk to him. I work with distressed patients so I'm experienced in agitated individuals. He was exhibiting symptoms of a stimulant use disorder and had what appeared to be needle marks in his arm. I went to the owner to tell him this as well as warn his cleaning staff that they may encounter loose needles while cleaning his room; the owner did nothing to fix the problem. The next night when the man started yelling obscenities, I played white noise loud enough to cover over his yelling. Judging by the first room we encountered, this place does not clean adequately, so you could be risking a loose needle stab which could transmit HIV or another illness by staying in one of these rooms. If you have children and value your own safety, I highly recommend going somewhere else.

I was gifted a night at this place through Warren County dss. Warren County department of social services is ideally a place where you go to get help if you're disadvantaged in this area. I have been homeless for some time, and I was able to get a one-night stay here. The cabin that I was in was very beautiful, it seems like a good property, but I've also heard reports that the service here is a bit lackluster. There's a lady who's been asking for blankets for a few days, but on all the property is well taken care of, and pretty well managed. It has an outdoor pool, which I'm used to Florida so bugs and stuff doesn't bother me, excellent showers, with very hot water for once at a hotel, good blankets, good TV choices to Roku TV, and good employees and all around good.

Our room key and the room number where not even the same. Could tell that the beautiful wood on the walls had not been cleaned lately. The light over the sink didn't work. No hot water this morning. The mattress and pillows were not comfortable or even new. The sink was stuck closed and would not drain. The walls were so thin we could hear the people in the room next to us argue all night. Word for word.

This was a good spot for us on our first time traveling with our dog. The small 1 room cabin with a king size bed was perfect. The cabin was clean. The staff was friendly. My only complaints were the cabin had a downhill tilt that started about 5 foot in & I wish the pet charge would have said stated $50. per night and not there maybe a charge on Booking.com

Cabin is very cute and was clean. Shower took a long time to get hot and the bathroom sink did not drain well filled up every time we used it. Also the lights on the front porch did not turn off and shined very brightly through the window. We mentioned this upon our departure and were told you can disconnect the lights if you want to. The Office reeked of cigarette smoke and so did the clean towels. The cleaning staff was very friendly and left a flower on our clean towels. Nice personal touch!

Definitely not a friendly, welcoming place. Office was old, dirty, staff didn’t even make eye contact, just charged an extra $40 for unknown reason. The cabin is just big enough for the king size bed but not terrible if you just expect to sleep, no hot water or pressure to take a shower, no extra amenities, the grounds very unkempt and overgrown, and the driveway completely washed away. Doesn’t live up to the Lake George standards.
