King Gyros - Greek restaurant in Indianapolis - 3410 S East St, USA

These folks are very accommodating. They'll make it the way you ask. I'm a big fan of gyros and a little hard to please. They're near the Pilot off 465, that's the only negative. I got the gyros burger, ordered two and iu barely made it through one! All I can say is, excellent!

Felt like we spent lots of money for not that much food. This is a photo of a Chicago dog. So small could have eaten 6 of these. The onion rings were VERY GOOD! Real onions crispy and tasty, although a little greasy. I think they need to change their fryer oil. The fries not so good. Gyro platter was okay, husband liked it although a little small. Also felt like I was trespassing when I walked in did not seem welcoming at all. No greeting just a weird kind of look. The temperature inside the building was so hot and stifling, I could not imagine eating inside . So all in all, been there, done that, got the tee shirt, don't have to go back.

My friend wanted to dine here for lunch. This was my first time eating at a gyro place. I had the cheeseburger meal, and the cost was $10.1. All I could say was that it was okay. Also, customer service was great.

Love this places food, I mean it is amazing the gyro has so much meat on it I always order a extra pita and make 2 . Salads are always fresh and big with home made Greek dressing. And the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Cashiers are not very friendly but they get your order right the first time.

I have visited this location one other time, that visit is what led us back this visit. I have tried a few Gyros since I've been living in Indianapolis area and I have been impressed with very few. I believe there is one in the fashion Mall area that is okay but no one gives great options in this area unfortunately. Today we got two gyro plates, one have an extra meat, one with a Greek salad the other with fries, also a cheeseburger with fries, all came with drinks. Not pictured is the cheese sticks that ultimately we were not charged for. We were greeted by a nice young lady who kind of talked us through options for ordering like gyroa combo versus a gyros plate etc. She wasn't rushing and she wasn't stressed out or tired of the questions. The food came out rather quickly, and I noticed the absence of the cheese sticks that I ordered, she probably just honestly did not hear me and she told me not to worry about it, I told her that I could pay she repeated not to worry about it and they were ready within a few minutes. She was far too kind. Keep in mind King gyros is a nice little drive from where I live, how about 40 minutes, and we went during rush hour, but the experience was wonderful. The food was hot and fresh including the fries which were seasoned nicely with salt. The only downside to that is that the only companion brand name is hunt and not Heinz and I'm partial to Heinz ketchup 😂. The sandwich was loaded with enough meat and it already came with enough tzatziki sauce which was not watery and filled with chunks of cucumbers. It was perfectly flavored, nice and thick and though I ordered extra it wasn't really needed. Today we sat down indoors and ate. Now during the downtime a little cleaning could take place as some of the tables needed attention but I was too emerged in the delightfulness of my meal to make that a concern of mine. I was 100% happy with our visit today, as was my husband and daughter.

King gyros has some really tasty food. Our baby shower food came from this restaurant and my crowd was totally pleased. You get good food for a very reasonable price. The spankopita is my favorite it's so good. Authentic Greek Cuisine 👌👌😀

We love everything we've gotten from here! It's one of our go to spots. Good prices for the portion sizes! Drive thru os always fast.

This place is most definitely in my top 3 favorite places to eat at!!! Affordable and delicious meals plus great customer service!!!! Can’t go wrong here!!!!
