The karaage is all breading, with a half-thumb size chicken meat inside. I've been to Japan so many times, and have also eaten good karaage in and out of the US, but this place's karaage is NOT karaage at all. The texture, the meat, the amount of fried oil in it- looking at the photo itself they look more like fried mini donuts glazed in oil than a legit karaage. This kaarage don is also ALL RICE. The beef gyudon had 4 strips of beef, and again- ALL RICE. We asked the lady server if the okonomiyaki does not have shellfish in it because of allergy reasons and she asked the manager & both confirmed that it does not have shellfish. I found shrimps in them!!! Food presentation, service and atmosphere are all good but the food is disappointing. Won't come back, might as well cross the street to go to Ponce City Market or try other ramen shops in Doraville.
The food and the experience is amazing I had the black tonkotsu and added an egg I also had the truffle fries best fries ever you have to try them! Will definitely be going back!
Loved the anime decor as a fan myself! Service was great. Food was good, I got the ramen but my options for shrimp in the ramen was either the whole shrimp steamed or tempura with the tail, and I got tempura. However the tempura was soggy when it got to me. The curry dish was okay.
i found this place when i typed in “best ramen in Atlanta” and it was the first place to pop up. It has to have lived up to that title because everything was superior here. if you’re any bit of an anime nerd, you’ll enjoy decore here. the service is immaculate and fast. i waited for nothing. got my food within like 2 minutes of ordering it. anything i asked for, i received almost immediately. the ramen is amazing. i got a honey miso based with chashu and other additives and it was all delicious. id have to try other spots but so far, this is the best ramen spot to me. ive already developed a bias.
Went here for the first time and it was fantastic! Food was warm and filling, atmosphere was great, and Ronan (our server) was wonderful. He made us feel like we were out with friends and gave great recommendations for our lunch. Would strongly recommend ordering another plum sweet tea to go! ;)
So sooooo good! I got the black garlic ramen and I loved it! Can’t wait to visit Atlanta again and come back to try the other ramens on the menu!
Well….where should I begin? I’ve beeb meaning to leave a review here for so long now!!!! My boyfriend and I come here once a week, and would definitely call ourselves regulars. Food and service NEVER disappoints. We crave, we love, we raveeee about it. Our favorites: - Spicy Miso Ramen (with a side of spicy bomb) - Edamame - Fried Pork Gyoza - Lychee Martini is also fire Chef’s kiss 👨🍳😘
Actually a bit disappoint Start with good items first. It’s a small cute ramen bar! Great atmosphere and clean. Fried Squid leg is ok crispy and not dry. Spicy Cucumber is pretty refreshing and well done as appetizers. However, when it comes to karaage and ramen… I might have a higher standard… Karaage is dark meat which it’s not easy to overcook it… it can be a lot juicier.. As for ramen… I guess it doesn’t fit my tastebuds…charshu is a bit dry and meat quantity is a bit small. Also Egg is not included… that’s a first for me… They are more hakata ramen style since they call it “ichiran” and some trying to be Jiro ramen style, but not enough quantity and garlicky. So I also expecting my ramen has pickled ginger, corn, bamboo or spinach, instead of kale… but it might be a good options for those who likes kale. Btw… is it ok to use”ichiran ramen” as name of a dish? That’s a well known ramen restaurant brand… or they actually buy ichiran ramen and cook it here? Lol Anyway.. it’s not bad… but not for me I guess

We ran the Gauntlet tonight! Table split the bang bang chicken, gyoza, and crab rangoon. Then tucked right into an Angry PaoPao. Dirty Taro to finish off so sweet and creamy!!! For sure will come back. We got green tea cheesecake too! ð
Very chic and busy, not many tables on the main indoor space, but there's an upstairs and outdoor space. This place hits every spot for me cause I'm in love with Japanese Curry and Mentaiko. Lots of coffee and tea drinks to choose from as well as pas
