This hotel feels like home! I’ve been coming here for years and always enjoy my stay. It’s a short walk to the beach and away from the main street. The best part is the front desk staff who are wonderful, beautiful, inviting and are happy to help with any of your needs. Iris and Taylor are amazing - beyond accommodating and helpful. They always make me feel comfortable and welcome. I enjoy seeing their smiles when I arrive and am sad when I have to leave. I highly recommend this hotel and give it a 4.5 stars.

We travel a lot for work and pleasure. We stay at a lot of nice places and have high expectations. This was, by far, my most favourite hotel stay! The hotel itself is adorable, it’s so bright and cheery. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean. The rooftop pool was spectacular and the food in La Fuga (we had breakfast and dinner) was fresh and delicious. All these things are 5* worthy but the real asset to Shorebreak was the staff. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere and seen so many friendly and helpful staff. They shared lots of helpful hints and tips and went above and beyond to make the stay memorable and cement a lasting impression of welcome-ness. Our accommodation was in a 2 storey block which was very old but the rooms were updated and modern. Access was from outside so felt like a motel not a hotel. You had to walk through reception, through the pool area to another building to access the rooftop pool, very weird layout , pool area very nice with great views. |No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, only plastic glasses, large fridge but no idea why . Sleep comfort not great, housekeeping usually very late in the day. |Hotel close to beach but not really in walking distance to much else, only restaurants were in large hotels so expensive. Best thing about hotel was the friendly reception staff

The highlight is definitely the rooftop pool with the views! There's also another pool at ground level behind the restaurant but it doesn't get any sun and I never saw anyone in it. Why would you hang out there when you can be on the rooftop where all the action is? (we saw a bachelorette party there as well as a couple of Instagram posers). |Our room was on the 2nd floor and clean. We weren't in it very much. The hotel is actually small and guests only stay in the low rise building street-facing. The building where the rooftop pool is actually occupied by condo owners who share the pool. |The front desk were friendly and helpful.|There's also a free city shuttle that will pick you up at the hotel and take you around nearby (just tip the driver) so we took advantage of this and went to Las Olas to have dinner and walk around. |The hotel is not right on the beach, about a 10-15 min walk. |Your resort fee provides you with access to the rooftop pool mentioned, 2 beach towels, 2 beach chairs and also bikes if you want to ride around. |We enjoyed our stay there.

Beautiful visually. The design of the place is peaceful, cool, kind of hip. The courtyard on the way to our room makes my Artist heart smile every time. 95% excellent staff which I’d say is WAY above the norm in Jan. Of 2023 across all price points (food, retail, lodging). Kudos on your hiring processes. Nice bed, large shower, fun Bluetooth speaker. We’ll be back.

This is such an adorable hotel. We picked this place because of the rooftop pool. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate most of our stay so we were only able to enjoy it for one afternoon. The room was huge. The staff were all so kind. Tashelle was amazing and was always helpful! We will definitely be back!

The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. Staying on the first floor, it was awkward that people walking by could look in your room, necessitating the blinds being closed whenever we were in the room. The location was very nice, close to the beach and inland waterway, but far enough away that the noise on Ft. Lauderdale blvd did not bother us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good deal, based on the relative price differential. It was windy and cold when we were there so we did not make it to the rooftop bar, unfortunately.

My family recently went on a Disney Cruise and we came into Florida one day before the cruise and left one day after our cruise ended. I decided to roll the dice and book this new Kimpton hotel for our end of trip stay. This hotel room was HUGE, well decorated and had all the amenities we needed and more. ||The real 5 stars comes in with the service here- holy guacamole! Look I've stayed at the Marriott down the block plenty of times and at best they are polite but never ever have I ever felt so taken care of like at the Kimpton and by the way I didn't get any complimentary service or upgrade or any of that at the Kimpton and my experience has been the best at this place. ||As soon as I rolled up to the hotel in an uber with a bunch of luggage and 2 tired kids the valet attendant greeted me with a smile and walked over with a trolley to help load my stuff. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by the front desk, my room wasn't ready but they made me feel so comfortable- immediately took my stuff checked me in and shared all the amenities the hotel had that I can start using. I know this all sounds simple and standard but it's the way they did it that I don't know how to fully explain. They were so genuinely nice and the employees get along so well with each other that it feels like they like working there which ultimately makes a big difference in the energy of the room and the experience of customers like me. ||We decided to hit up the outlets until our room was ready so we left for a few hours and when we came back the front desk had my keys ready, they told me to check out the wine down event at the bar (and said I could take my drink back to the room if I wanted to just chill out/ that - that was totally cool to do too). I ordered take out and it got there no problem. I asked about on site laundry and they said they didn't have any but gave me an address for a place close by (I wish they did have on site laundry though!). ||It was generally such a nice stay- nothing out of the ordinary but the people that work there are just very nice. Who ever runs this hotel does such a fantastic job with the staff- you can tell the people are happy to be there and thus make the place enjoyable to be at. I would definitely stay here again with my family.
