Kimpton Harper Hotel - Hotel in Fort Worth - 714 Main St, USA

My wife and i expected the hotel and the room to be nice from the booking site; however what pictures and booking descriptions can’t quite capture is all the people and the accommodations that far exceeded our expectations. ||The hotel is located on the brick paved Main Street in Fort Worth across from the Capital Grille and Ruth’s Chris. It’s a historical 24 floor landmark building with a beautiful exterior and while renovated inside, maintains the character of the expert craftsmanship and beauty of the original building. ||The hotel lobby or checkin is on the 24th floor and provides spectacular views of the city. It’s quite breathtaking. There is comfy and stylish seating in the event that you have to wait for a room and where you can grab a bite or a cocktail in the adjacent bar with a bartender who is warm and friendly. ||Sean checked us in and you immediately Feel welcome similar to how you’d feel visiting friends. Sean notified us that our room from upgraded from a standard King to a beautiful 650sq foot suite on the 23rd floor. Sean noticed that the upgraded room, while ready, was near an elevator and below the lobby and might be noisier than we’d prefer and accommodated us with an equally beautiful room with a breathtaking view of the city and the beautiful Texas skyline. ||He gave us complimentary water and beer while we waited and had our room prepared and quality checked before we could finish our drinks. 🍺 ||The room was conveniently located close enough to the elevator and was perfect for my wife and I. The decor was so stylish and contemporary that we research many of the items to bring in similar ideas to our home in California. ||Everything was well thought-from the wall decor and comfortable bed and sofa, to the work space and televisions in each room that allow you to stream all of your favorite movies and shows directly from your phone at no cost. ||The minibar was well stocked, the in-room dining robust and covered much of anything you’d want during your stay. The hotel stocks many amenities that you may need and that they loan or sell including a nespresso coffee machine upon request. ||We didn’t eat at the Refinery 714 Bar and restaurant however we did eat breakfast and dinner at Il Modo. Josh delighted us breakfast each morning and Patrick made our dinner even more warm and romantic with very attentive service. ||We loved the hotel and the people so much that we decided to come back to celebrate our birthdays in December—not for the city or anything in Fort Worth or Texas per se, rather solely for the extraordinary service and amenities this downtown gem provides. ||Sean, Josh, Patrick and all the wonderful people including the valet—many thanks for turning a business trip with my wife, a relaxing and romantic getaway. ||PS, while we didn’t have pets, the hotel is very accommodating to pets and we saw several cuties during our stay.

Hands down I was once a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, but my recent experience has completely changed my perspective. My husband and I traveled to Fort Worth for a family emergency, and during this difficult time, Sean and Wayne have been incredible. The emotional strain has been immense, but the level of care we've received here has been truly remarkable. Additionally, we recently welcomed a new baby, and the support from the staff has been outstanding. I cannot praise this hotel enough. It has made me reconsider my long-standing loyalty to Marriott and Hyatt. Kimpton offers a unique, boutique atmosphere and has gone above and beyond to ensure not only our comfort but also that of our 4-year-old daughter, our nanny, and our newborn. The countless thoughtful touches make this place stand out from the usual corporate hotels. It feels more personal and genuine, with everyone from the bellman to the bartenders and front desk staff showing they genuinely care. I am absolutely thrilled with our stay. Whenever we return to Fort Worth, there’s no question—we’ll be staying here again.

Breakfast was amazing everyday. The waiters/waitresses were amazing and polite. Massive thank you to Wayne who saved ours lives after we lost our keys down the lift shaft. Rooms where always clean and tidy. Beds were amazing, very comfortable.

Fort Worth was our last stop in our week long trips across Texas. The Kimpton Harper Hotel is luxurious with beautiful city views from all of its windows. The restroom is amazing, there’s a huge bathtub in the glass shower enclosure and it has a window to look out into the city while you soak or shower. ||A huge thank you to Sean for accommodating our Family of five in a suite. Sean was super polite and helped us with a smile. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Fort Worth.

Incredible stay and friendly staff. During my stay, I unfortunately left behind a cherished blanket. Panicked, I contacted the hotel, and Sean not only promptly located my item but also took the initiative to ensure it was safely packaged and mailed back to me.||Sean's kindness and efficiency were truly remarkable. He handled the situation with such professionalism and genuine care, making me feel reassured I would get my item back, leaving me on hold while physically checking the room and keeping my item behind the desk!||I would highly recommend the fort work Kempton Harper Hotel to anyone seeking not only comfort and quality but also exceptional service.||Thank you again to Sean and the entire staff!

I loved this historic hotel. The reception area is beautiful with a great view. Front desk staff was wonderful. Luxury toiletries and fluffy linens and robes. The bed was extremely comfortable. Just wish there was a coffee maker in the room.

Had the opportunity to stay at this unique hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Everything was wonderful, but what made the stay was my interaction with Kezia at the front desk. She was very helpful and personable. Will definitely stay at here the next time I’m in Fort Worth.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the Harper hotel. This was a work trip where my family joined me which can be challenging. The room we were in was spacious and perfect for the stay. Everyone was accommodating and so friendly and kind. Right next to the hotel was an cut coffee shop and lots of options for dining. We look forward to returning to the Harper Hotel on our next stay in Dallas/Fort Worth and appreciated everyone at the property that helped accommodate our family!
