Excellent place! I highly recommend this hotel. Everyone we interacted with were so kind and professional. The lobby, pool, rooms and hotel overall are beautiful. They offer free champagne on checking in, and have a wonderful valet service that makes arrival a breeze. My only criticism is that the room could have been a bit cleaner, as I noticed a lot of lime buildup on the shower head, and the toilet could have been cleaner. Overall, worth the money and definitely a luxurious experience.

From the minute I arrived, it was a great experience. The front desk staff were always helpful and polite. The $15/day credit made up for not having coffee makers in the room and there was free coffee in their stylish stately bar/ lounge. This is also a real perk if you want to get out of your room. There are quiet work spots and socializing spots in the large spacious lounge. I really enjoyed getting a coffee and a snack from Jane Q (their restaurant) and sitting in the quiet lounge to work. My room had great views, including the iconic Capitol records building. I was so happy from arrival that immediately after I arrived in my room, I started searching the IHG credit cards because my diamond status with Hilton gets me less at 90% of US properties. My Pricey Hilton card delivers about the same as IHG at a 1/5 of the price. The room was spacious, quiet air conditioning, comfortable and any item I forgot - housekeeping provided immediately on request. Staff at this hotel truly were perfect - accommodating, helpful, welcoming and professional - and I rarely say that. The Everly will be my new “go to” hotel in LA. The location is perfect for work and visiting friends in East Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silver Lake etc. Within walking distance, or a short Uber are super cafe’s and bars. I’ll be back.

The Everly Kimpton has few really outstanding qualities, but the staff tried compensating for a few mishaps which went a long way, and even though I've definitely been to better hotels in the chain, the placement of the Everly and a friendly staff makes this a hotel you might still consider.||At check-in was no upgrade even considering my status with IHG (though later, a clerk claimed there had been - maybe they consider a room on the top floor that is in all other ways the same as the standard an upgrade) - this is the first time in about 25 stays with IHG that I haven't been upgraded, being platinum. (However, my Diamond status at Hilton hasn't really gotten me that great upgrades either, so IHG is still ahead in this department.) IHG does state, that upgrades are "when available", but since all room types were available there should maybe have been room for a one-category upgrade.||At check-in we got vouchers for the bar (IHG status benefit again) - got to the bar and the bartender said we needed to keep the vouchers for reception to apply them to the bill at the end of the stay, defeating the point of vouchers. At checkout there was no problem redeeming them, though.||The rooms aren't really anything special and borders on boring, though seems newly renovated. The bathroom is, again, okay without being outstanding, but with a nice touch in that the light is dimmable. Cleaning is quite good allround. Toilet was noisy and wouldn’t stop running, which was fixed after a visit to reception.||The pool is extremely small. The fitness center lacks quite a few things for it to be called “well equipped” - I stayed at the Intercontinental downtown a week ago, THAT was a well equipped gym.||There was no coffee maker in the room, which, to be honest, is quite bad. Even the lowliest Holiday Inn has at least a kettle, and at a hotel in this category there really should be an espresso machine.||During our stay there was a few weekend nights where there was passed out free drinks (quite good coctails, even) and snacks. The vibe in the lobby is actually quite good and vibrant.||The issues we had at check in, the running toilet and so forth were compensated through a collection of wine and softdrinks left in our room,

Accueil professionnel.

The Kimpton was a beautiful, clean, and peaceful space. The restaurant downstairs was great. We loved the food. The service was awesome. We needed a microwave to reheat food and they brought one up within 10mins of making the call. The pool was nice and relaxing.

Where do I start! Terrible hotel. Problem after problem. Even after emailing the manager Ben, who did sort out a few things and gave a night refund; the issues did not go away. The issues were constant every single day. After emailing we constantly had to chase towels. 4 people in a room and we were constantly given towels for 2.||We paid for 4 people including breakfast.|However, on arrival we find out breakfast is a $25 ‘credit’ per person, but only for 2 people. $50 for breakfast doesn’t even cover 2 people, let alone 4 people.|In the end we grabbed a few croissants at $7 each.|In the $35 Guest Amenity Fee we received a $15 ‘credit’ to use at the bar, well that is what we were told when checking in. We found out on the last night we could have used that towards breakfast as well.||At the bar, there is no price list for drinks, so beware. We asked how much soda was for our boys and were told $3, fair enough. Strangely enough, when we didn’t ask, we were charged $4. This also happened with a couple of shorts.||The daily security deposit is an eyewatering amount and is not on their website (just checked again), nor in the booking information. Being told when you have travelled 5,500 miles and check-in, is not good enough.||My communication with Ben, who did help, but clearly didn’t keep an eye on the ball afterwards:||*****|I am writing as we are still having problems in the hotel.||We checked in Monday evening and were allocated room 1515. On arrival we had a warm welcome. We unpacked and one of our sons went to the bathroom. Once the door was closed we saw how disgusting the floor was behind the door. We also noticed dust on many surfaces, dirty mirrors, dirty window (inside, fully understood about outside), further dirt on the floor etc. We called reception and Jade came up to our room to deal with the issues. We also asked for 4 sets of towels, as there are 4 of us staying here.|She was very apologetic and said she would get housekeeping to rectify the issues whilst we were out. As an apology she said she would comp our meal at the hotel that night.|On return we double checked with Jade that dinner was on the hotel, and she said yes. So we proceeded to have dinner. Once returning to our room, the room indeed had been cleaned, however the towels had been missed.||Tuesday morning, I saw I was charged $57.20 on my card. I went to reception to find out why. I was informed as our meal had gone over the $150 daily deposit (we had paid a $1,200 deposit in total) we were charged the amount over this. I explained Jade had comped the meal. I was informed it was only a $100 credit that had been placed on our room. I had checked with Jade the night before, and was not informed of this. At this point I was rather perplexed. The receptionist said he would get it sorted out and apologised, I also pointed out the towels had not been added to our room. Again he said he would get that sorted. To this point the $57.20 has not been refunded.||Wednesday, we went out. Once we returned, we noticed the body wash, shampoo and conditioner were missing from our room, along with one glass (from the bathroom). My wife spoke to reception around 5pm before we went out, and they said they would get things rectified. On our return around 10pm, neither had been done; so she called reception. The gentleman said he would pass the message along to housekeeping in the morning. Then he offered some for tonight. This contradiction was rather baffling. The wife accepted things to be sorted in the morning.||With all due respect, we expect standards in a 4 star hotel to be far better than we have received so far. We have never had to contact a hotel reception this many times in as few days as this. It has started to bring our stay down.||I would like you to rectify the situation, so we do not have to keep contacting reception each time something has been missed by the staff, it is getting rather tedious. These are all bare minimum standards that one would expect from a 2 star hotel, let alone a 4 star.||On another note, I would like to point out that the $150 nightly deposit is not on my booking, nor can I find it on the Everly or IHG websites.||*****|Ben’s reply gave me faith, but that dropped away when the issues carried on for the next few nights.|I really appreciate you writing me, and I am so sorry that we have dropped the ball on your stay with us. I know how frustrating it can be when traveling, as the expectation should be that we take care of these issues and also give you clear answers when problems arise. I do want to address your issues below and rectify them.||·Housekeeping issues will be immediately addressed with the team. My director of housekeeping will personally be ensuring that your room is cared for during the rest of your stay.||·The Deposit- I will ensure that your card is not authorized any more than it has been. This is a policy that should have been clearly stated upon check in and I am so sorry that was not communicated to you.||I want us to be able to rectify this and turn things around for you and your family. I will ensure that my team takes care of you throughout the remainder of your stay. In addition, as a token of my sincere apologies I will be asking the team to remove one night from your stay. Thank you for bringing these service errors to my attention.||*****|So I thank Ben for attempting to sort things out, but housekeeping clearly needs to improve, as does consistent bar prices.

Great Stay. Rooms smelled clean. Great Towels. Water pressure was perfect. The Shampoo/Conditioner/Body wash smelled lovely. I like the feature that you can stream from your phone to the TV… super helpful. Also liked that you can tip the staff cashless. Would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

I had the best experience at Kimpton Everly!! The entire hotel is a complete vibe. We had the room view of the Hollywood sign. The food is great, the rooftop and pool area is nice for solo, family, and group trips. All of the staff were amazing! Andy especially was extremely accommodating and helpful. I will for sure be back when I return to LA!!
