I enjoyed my food at Kimono Japanese Steak House.
Service: it was very good.
Food: it was available in a very fair time.
Environment: very cozy, family type.
Menu: it has a large selection of choices.
I feel that my waitress is the star of the restaurant. She has great kindness, big smile, excellent attitude, and wonderful people skills. She is a great assets for this restaurant.
Thank you for having her Kimono Japanese!
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and the food here is always great. I believe the owners own Bamboo in Jonesboro so you will find the similar types of dishes and preparation here for your food. The sushi rolls are large and filling and the hibachi staples are always good too. They offer a bar and alcoholic beverages, if you prefer those with your meal. The service is always good and they have your food out quickly. They have the option of sitting at hibachi grills, regular tables, or at the bar although I believe they now charge a nominal fee to sit at a grill. Good Asian food and I will visit it again.
The owner may look very stoic, but he is actually a really nice man. My wife and I got the steak fried rice and it was excellent and so was the price. We also got 2 unsweet iced teas. The waitress was very cordial and great at her job. Altogether are meal price was under 30$. This is one of are favorite places on a very short list, to recharge and relax. We hope it's around for a long long time.^^
TL;DR: Best sushi I have had at a hibachi grill.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and experience after hearing some rather mild comments about the food. The rest of my party enjoyed chicken and steak at the hibachi grill, while I opted for 2 sushi rolls instead.
The Popcorn Lobster roll was very good. There wasn't quite enough sauce, but it's strong enough that it could be overwhelming if too much got on a single piece. The crawfish tempura was especially delightful.
The spicy tuna roll looked gorgeous as well, but was typical quality for that kind of roll. Still tasty, but not surprisingly so.
The hibachi grill itself was as usual a chaotic blast of fire, metal and food coupled with interactions such as jokes about food and throwing vegetables for us to catch in our mouths.
Unfortunately many of our party did not care for the soup or salad. This was NOT a food quality issue. The salads are served with a ginger dressing (yum) and the soups are not what you may find at other restaurants (someone once called it onion soup, but I'm fairly certain that's incorrect).
The rice is the star of any hibachi grill though and it was absolutely on point.
On subsequent visits, I've gotten to try additional sushi rolls:
Mango Shrimp Roll: fruity, fancy, and overall tasty. Crab, Tempura Shrimp, and mango. Nothing special, but I like Mango.
Rainbow Tobiko Roll: eye-catching or stomach turning depending on how you feel about tobiko. It's very pretty, but I'm not a fan of crab rolls
Kimono Japanese Steak House is a great place to go on date night or even with the family. They have a great private room for functions too!
The service is fast and friendly. The food is incredibly good! We always order from the hibachi menu and are never disappointed :)
One of favorite places to eat in Paragould!
Overall a ver good place to eat. Was not my first time, I just forgot to review last time.
I’ll just give Pros and cons
Pros
Food was very good
Food was fresh
Service was very good
Place was clean
Cons
Place was freezing cold
Out of hot saki, very disappointed in that
Out of all saki (come on, it’s a Japanese restaurant)
I would definitely bring a jacket and call ahead if your really wanting saki but I will be back as the food was very good. I had the sweet heart roll and the udon noodle soup. Bother very good and helped with the cold restaurant.
I think the prices are too high for my food was only lukewarm. I should have told the waitress. I did not because of the stories I've heard when the food is criticized.
I've been so excited about going back to eat chicken and steak hibachi, so today I finally go, I'm disappointed. My rice tasted funny, old, stale almost.. server was prompt and there was no wait this time so that's a plus. Sushi is still the best. But my meal, I'm upset with.

As a parent of a special needs child, I have to admit we were a little nervous about him joining, Paragould ATA. So glad that we did though. It has been such a positive life changing experience for Joshua. He might learn at a slower pace, but he has
I have had coffee In many coffee shops on the west Coast and I like their mochas better than anyone's. Their espresso roast is dark and bold. They also have a bunch of sugar free options. I would definitely recommend it.
What I liked about this fitness location was several things. The color of the paint chosen is soothing, welcoming, and non-judgmental at all. If a color can do all that, Iâm in. Also, the owner/managers are laid back yet professional. I love the eq
This is a venue/church on Sunday. The atmosphere is very modern and classic in that it's set in a historical part of Paragould AR in the old Belk building and it's a great place to have small gatherings and a huge kitchen to furnish group rental need
Went yesterday with my family. It was very enjoyable. Took an ice chest and swam all day. Love that there are lifeguards. It was a great day. The play area was shaded enough for my little one to play and not get burned on the equipment like most play
The coffee and brownie I had were great and the ladies working there were extremely nice! They will also take you next door to meet some very sweet kitties up for adoption!
I was stuck at the traffic light by Charmy's and have never actually been there before but decided in a spilt moment to give them a try. Probably the best decision I made. I went in and was greeted by a lot of friendly faces. And the decor was adorab
I recently started work for a local manufacturer. The pair of work books purchased from a big box store just weren't cutting it, so I went to The Boot Store today (5/12). The lady was great, knew what my employer's standard was, and showed me a num
