step into this Funky little back room with quick service, where can eat it here, at the bar, or take it with you. The choice is up to you. At Killer Po-Boys, my decision to savor the Pork Belly Po-Boy at home proved to be a wise one. The Dong Phuong bread, a masterpiece with a flaky exterior and a soft, chewy interior, maintained its integrity as takeout. The rum ginger glaze asserted its presence from the very first bite, while the crunchy lime slaw contributed a delightful texture. The garlic aioli played a harmonious role, neither overpowering the dominant pork belly nor the slaw, but enhancing the overall flavor profile. This po-boy is a satiating delight that won't weigh you down, showcasing a culinary craftsmanship that transcends the ordinary. It's evident that this creation was skillfully crafted by someone with a keen understanding of blending flavors and textures.
The PoBoys at Killer PoBoys are truly amazing. The bread is some of the best I have had in the City. The roast beef is my favorite, but any type is very good. The atmosphere is also very eclectic and fun. The man behind the counter is not overly outgoing but is fine. A good spot for a good sandwich.
The Poboys here are great! Personally, I felt like mine (shrimp) could have had a little bit more seasoning, but overall the flavor was great. Customer service was great too. Our bartender was friendly and gave great drink recommendations. One thing worth noting is that, like many other spots in New Orleans, seating is very limited. Be prepared to take it to go if needed.
The service here was great! A Vietnamese spin on poboys! So although rated as one of the best poboy locations in Nola, it is a little different. Short menu but the food was really good! Reasonable prices and fresh potato chips! The bar was super cool, lots of nice artifacts! This place is worth visiting!
Had the Seared Shrimp Poboy as I saw it was the most popular option. Not the biggest fan of the mix of ingredients that didn’t seem to mesh well together (specifically the soggy coleslaw). Poboy wasn’t the worst I’ve had but there’s definitely better options in the area.
The pork belly po'boy was unreal! Smokey, sweet, sticky glaze with a tangy slaw and really fresh, slightly crisp bread that really soaked up the sauce. Seared shrimp po'boy was good but not as amazing -- shrimp was a bit salty/heavy with the aoli but the bread was still amazing.
Tiny dive bar with limited seating and a sandwich shop located in the back. Had a great shrimp po boy and eventually did get a seat at the bar to eat our sandwich. Drinks were reasonable and service was good.
Was a good Poboy the shrimp was great the slaw was good.
