Killbuck Marsh Wildlife Area - Wildlife park in Shreve - 1691 Centerville Rd, USA

Drove down Cemetery Road off of 226 and there were a bunch of swans hanging out on the water while it was snowing. I don't remember them staying through the winter before, but looks like they are this year!

Great area for nature lovers, lots of water foul and other wildlife to see. There are several roads through the area providing good access with a few parking spots throughout. Public hunting land. In the spring and winter some of the roads can get a little flooded, but with a truck you should be okay. Great areas for Kayaking and some brief hiking.

Great area to be to see wildlife of all kinds. Every time we go we see giant birds who have caught fish, and it's just incredible to watch them in their nature habitat. This area just seems so wild, and untouched. There's also a lot of frogs and turtles, and there were quite a bit of deer the sides of the roads. Flash flooding is a big problem, though, and it makes some of the roads unavailable for periods of time.

My mom and I love to stroll/drive through here on spring and summer evenings. Quiet and peaceful, and we usually see some ducks, ducklings, the eagle, herons, and other birds and wildlife especially in the spring.

Absolutely beautiful wildlife preserve with gravel roads and random trails. Spring is coming and the birds are back. The noise from all the birds against the sound of waves is so refreshing after a long winter.

Be prepared, they logged this place in 2021, then the storm came along in June 2022, and now they are logging out anything that was left. I would like to know where the money from this logging is going. The state will probably say they have to pay the loggers to take away the wood. if you are coming here to ride your side by side or razor, please stay home! Keep what peace is still here. those things are so loud!

One of my favorite places around. Go down cemetery road and take the scenic route. So many birds and if you're watching or going slow, you can sometimes see turtles. Only problem is that it is one of the first places to flood so you can't always get down there.
