Oh my gosh! This was so cool. Michael Suhar and I went here just to check the place out. I really loved the projection of a face on a pillow that talked. That was the coolest thing I have ever seen. I REALLY regret not taking video of it! My only disappointment is it was so quick. (That's why I didn't give it a full 5 stars.) The tour was over before you knew it. But this was in Nov of 2020 so it may have expanded by then. I have never been in any museum this cool. Michael uses a cane to get around and I just wanted to share for those that may be disabled, you can get around the place. I don't think you could though if you were in a wheelchair. I also wish I would of purchased a t-shirt had they had them. I like to buy t-shirts of locations I go. But we both enjoyed ourselves and Mick said he too was impressed by the way they projected the faces. One was getting a shave and he couldn't get over that lol. So if you go make sure you have space in your phone for photos and videos. I certainly think kids would love this.

I just love going back to the past and seeing how my grandparents lived back then. They had so much information and items to see from the past. I truly enjoyed visiting again.

Fantastic little museum we had never known about! The concept and layout is sooo cute and well thought out. You can go into all displays like the drug store, bank, and a printing press. And there’s even a old time theatre you can watch a show in! I loved the elevator to the center of the earth “ride”! Highly recommend this little piece of history!

If you haven't been to this wonderful museum, GO! I was not expecting to walk through a life sized, re-created oil booming town, but we sure did, all tucked in this fabulous museum. My 10yr old hasn't stopped talking about it since we left. The ladies working there were very helpful and ready to take you on a tour. Or you can just enjoy at your leisure. My family will be back for sure.

Have visited this museum several times, from my high school years to both of my kids high school years! It truly is one of our most favorite museums in the area! They were remodeling some of it during our last visit, so will have to go back to see the new parts.

Very informative facts about the East Texas oil boom, which preceded that of Oklahoma. Automated historical figures, realism in quality displays.

Food is authentic and exceptionally delicious. Atmosphere was relaxed with soft music in the background. Decorations show a true personality belonging to the proprietor. One of the best meal experiences I've had in a long time.
