our waiter was not that attentive. we were there for happy hour. the food was over cooked and dry. if our waiter came back to the table we would have let him know.

This place had an authentic feel to it the very second you walk through the door! The service was very friendly, the place was clean and the food and drinks were incredible!

The shepherd’s pie was a disappointingly small portion, filling only half of the regular size cast iron pan - for $18. This is an entirely reasonable price for the dish if it fills the pan, which it has at every other restaurant where I’ve ordered this specific meal. When I approached the manager to complain, he said “that’s just how it comes.” I reiterated that I refuse to pay the full price on being shortchanged, and then he offered to take 25% off. Our server was also not friendly. Not worth it.

Great place for fast service. There are sports being played on the TVs in the restaurant which is nice. There are larger crowds of people since this is a college town. The restaurant has a good selection of beers and other drinks but they unfortunately were out of everything that I asked for on tap, which is absurd for a pub. They did however accommodate a gluten allergy and served corn tortillas for their tacos. I ordered the pork tacos which were juicy and the pineapple really gave the taco the perfect sweet acidic pop it needed to balance everything out. The Kildares deluxe burger was cooked perfectly, staying very moist in the center. The bun was nicely toasted and the side of fries were delicious. Overall I’d visit again! Primarily focusing on the food and not so much the drinks though.

This place has gone down hill entirely. It's now basically just a gigantic (bad) dive bar Have been a resident of West Chester since I was a kid. Moved to Pittsburgh and visit my family frequently. Go into town often as it's 5 minutes away from my folk's house. Stopped into Kildares December 26th while home. It's packed- mostly rowdy underage looking guys by the bar. Families sitting. Half the establishment doesn't have food in front of them. We get seated by the hostess in the way back corner of the place. It's just a party of 2. We sit for over 20 minutes- no menus, no glasses of water, no QR code on the table, nothing. A waiter strolls by us maybe 4 times. Doesn't even make eye contact. We got up and left Been going to this place for over a decade and now wouldn't ever return. Just get rid of the food and run a dive if you can't treat people with decency and operate an actual restaurant or "pub" with food.

Cocktails qere made to perfection. Great blending of flavors and very unique. pie. Husband said the Maple old fashioned was one of the best he has had. The Ruben Spring Rolls were excellent as was our main dishes of bangers and mash and shepards pie were both flavorful and nicely portioned. We each tried a dessert and both options were lovely. We went to see the Union game on the TV. That was the only complaint I had, we watched the game with no sound. But we were happy they put it on for us

Great friendly service, pub food, and perfect pints. Very much a soccer pub so all games on the tv's. Love the live music when they have it. (Aug 2023) Still a great place for food, fun, and family. Enjoyed watching the soccer game then sitting outside while having dinner.

A cool place with great views onto Gay Street and a traditional pub atmosphere inside. The beers on tap are as expected, and the appetizers, especially nachos and soft pretzels, are delicious. If Irish fare is your fancy, fish and chips or the shepherd's pie are both great. Service has been excellent at our table;s our waiter was happy to take our family New Year's photo to mark the occasion.
