Kiki's Chicken and Waffles - Soul food restaurant in Columbia - 1260 Bower Pkwy A8, USA

So we have a leader in clubhouse for the worst fish sandwich. My wife said she knew she should have turned around when she walked in because it smelled like really old grease. I wish she would have so we didn't throw away money. Fish sandwich, for some reason, was just served on bread and not toasted. Fish was old and smelled spoiled. Can't even say if it was seasoned since I couldn't get past the smell. One positve it looked good so they know how to fry but the food they gave me was old. We won't go back because they are also really rude, so there no second chance.

My sisters & I stopped in for Lunch before going to see the Renaissance film. Atmosphere was fairly clean and welcoming. However, despite being nearly empty it took quite some time being greeted and then serviced. Food came out in a timely fashion but maybe a little too fast as one of the plates consisted of pink chicken. The waiter stated it was because the chicken was “organic”. It was no problem having it remade and the second order was good.

Staff was nice. Gave several recommendations, I ordered the shrimp and grits without bacon, and 2 chicken wings and sweet potato waffle (dessert) The chicken was good, nit the best I've had but wasn't dissatisfied in any way. The waffle was good not overly sweet But the dogon shrimp and grits tasted like my daddys used to taste. Creamy grits, good portion plated perfectly. They knocked out the park with this one!!

I enjoyed every bite. Chicken was well seasoned and taste like it was cooked at home in a cast iron skillet. The service was great from the girl who seated us to our server. The food was fast, delicious 😋. Thanks chef. Most of all the atmosphere was clean with smooth r&b playing in the background.

OMG hands down THE best chicken and waffles I've ever tasted. Service was amazing too. I'm not sure what they do to the waffles but they are amazing. The chicken is well seasoned, super crispy on the outside but so moist and tasty. We are in town for a week and already ate there twice, with a third trip scheduled before we leave. Only wish we found it sooner! Not too mention very reasonable prices and a ton of food!

The overall experience was the bomb dot com!! It was our first visit and definitely won’t be our last. From the time we walked through the door until we left. We had an fabulous time. And the food was #phenomenal. We traveled from Charleston just to enjoy the food because that was the word that was being shared on the streets!! Please go and support the Black own business with some of the most delicious dishes in the world.

Well, let's start off by saying how long, it took for our drinks and to place our order...Chicken had fathers all on it..Had a burnt taste..🤮..Why is this establishment ,serving box of waffle mix 😳 from Publix Lol!! Nothing special...I have the same tasting waffle mix at home...SMH.. I'm better off going to Waffle house...There's taste good and not cheaply made....Either or...Waiters, avoiding to make eye contact...Dam3 this place...Will never return...It's hard to support Black own business

All of the food was cold, was surprised when I was given a plastic fork to eat with, the garden salad was good, the server was not friendly. Asked for extra plate which l did not receive, asked for a garden salad was given a house salad instead, the busboy was nice. When l paid the check the server did not have change to give, so she did not give me my change,I told her I would post that on the review she gave me a I don't care look
