Kihei Surfside Resort - Condominium complex in Kihei - 2936 S Kihei Rd, USA

Situated on a point of volcanic rock amongst tropical gardens and a large manicured expanse of lawn. Perfect location in South Kihei, with a great beach 100 metres away and within easy walking distance to shops and the Kam Beaches. Great relaxing vibe!

I scheduled a trip to visit in late August. I didn't buy trip insurance because literally nothing was keeping me from this trip. Then the big fire came. Due to the state of emergency and catastrophic loss of life, I was forced to cancel my trip. Rosie's Rentals stated "No Refunds." I'm dealing with the charges to this day. Totally appalling that they try to force a visit while they are in the middle of one of the greatest natural disasters in our countries history just a few miles away. ||I saw similar posts when people couldn't travel due to COVID restrictions. Don't book ahead. They keep your money if you can't make it. ||Now not only did I miss out on a Hawaii vacation, but I'm also not taking ANY vacation because the funds are taken. Fun times.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Kihei Surfside in Room 513, and we had an enjoyable stay. The remodeled unit's amenities and great oceanfront view met or exceeded our expectations. The trade winds died down a couple of nights and there was no a/c, but luckily there were several fans! Unfortunately we had to keep the large sliding door closed at night to keep out beetles that loved to come in through its screen door cracks, so a/c would have been a big plus. There was construction on site that was not too disruptive, but unfortunately construction on the nearby street was noisy starting at 9 AM each weekday. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but it would have been better with a/c and without beetles or road construction noise.

Do Not Under Any Circumstances use Rosie's Rentals! Please visit Maui Bound on FB for guest beware and recommendations for reputable companies. Rosie's Rentals has refused refunds to guests who were ordered not to come to Maui during the first 2 weeks after fires. Rosie's Rentals has kept tens of thousands of dollars from impacted guests between August 11th -August 31st and has refused to work with them. This is not the first time. During the Covid pandemic, Rosie's Rentals refused refunds or to work with guests after the guests were unable to keep travel during mandated lockdowns. Many Maui businesses and condos have worked with guests, this is Not one of them. Guest Beware! Rosie's Rentals,the cost of refunds is minimal in comparison to the cost of lost business. Do the right thing!

This is our first time at this resort....not our last. Great ocean view from all rooms, awesome large grass area for play, yoga and gatherings, beautiful birds in the yard daily. Excellent snorkeling out front and lots of turtles visible by land and sea as they feed off the grasses and algae. Easy to spot whales from the entire bay and great views of Molokini crater and over to the West Mountains and Haleakala behind us. The best part though is the staff and management at this building...They are awesome!!!!|Thank you for an excellent vacation at Kihei Surfside...see you next year.

Great view, roomy with outside lanai/balcony. Sits next to a a DLNR Park that has Yoga and is great for Dogs.

We stayed at Kihei Surfside Resort #605 for a week on our recent trip. Love the location---it is centrally located and minutes to the beach parks and Wailea. Our room had an ocean view and we always caught the sunset which was beautiful! The apt had a kitchen/utensils to tackle any leftovers. There's a pool on the property which is open till 9pm. The property also has a large lawn/park where you can play games, chill or watch the sunset which is amazing! Parking is abundant and free. The only reason I knocked a star was because there is no AC in the apartment. We knew this when we were booking but once we got there, even with two fans running, with Hawaii weather (not even peak summer) and the sun facing the apt most of the day, it was very hot on most of the days. It seems like they are working on installing ACs in the units so can't wait to go back to an even cooler apartment:)
