5/5 I highly recommend this sweet little low-key spot. The food is fresh and delightful. The service was excellent. Our server was Kimberly. However, the staff that assisted her were also nice. We had 2 rounds of about 5 or 6 different items and everything that was supposed to be hot, came out and stayed that way throughout the meal. Cold items were also as should be. I can't wait to go back and have dessert 😋 I had the best company, too. tee hee >:D

We stopped here for a little snack and they had a happy hour sort of deal between 2-4 I think. Service was quick and the happy hour options were plentiful. I love the chicken avocado chipotle skewers. So delicious, and my sister really liked the grilled octopus. Good healthy options! I highly recommend.

Spoiler: It didn’t disappoint. Fast forward to now, I decided it was high time to grace Kid Cashew with my presence for the full dine-in saga. The menu is a treasure trove of shareable plates. I zeroed in on the “Meatball Au Poivre” ($9.95) - a beefy, herby delight swimming in cognac peppercorn gravy, and the “Cast Iron Mac & 5-Cheeses” ($8.95) - a dairy lover’s dream with a quintet of cheeses melding into creamy bliss. Without skipping a beat, I also nabbed the “Baked Spinach & Feta Dip” ($8.95), because why not dive into a cheesy spinach pool with pita paddles? Seated at the bar, I was in the good hands of Brittanie, the bartender extraordinaire. She’s not just a mixologist; she’s a menu wizard, a conversational maestro, and possibly my new best friend. Brittanie guided me through the menu with the expertise of a seasoned foodie, ensuring my taste buds were in for a treat. The meatballs were a revelation. Imagine five cute juicy meatballs taking a dive in a pool of creamy, buttery cognac peppercorn gravy, and you’re invited to the party. And bring the pita bread for a dip; it’s the etiquette. The Mac & Cheese? Let’s just say it performed a cheese pull so majestic, I half expected a standing ovation from the couple seated next to me. It’s the kind of dish that whispers, “You’ll never want to leave me.” Speaking of cheese pulls, the spinach and feta dip followed suit. It’s not just a dip; it’s a cheesy escapade with spinach. The warm, fluffy pita served alongside was the perfect companion for a dive into this cheesy wonderland. Parking is complimentary, a rare find in Charlotte, though it might test your parallel parking skills on a busy night. As I sat there, overindulging in what could easily feed a small family, I couldn’t help but plan my next visit. The Rotisserie chicken has my name on it, and yes, I noticed the paper straws. Eco-friendly and delicious? Kid Cashew, you’ve got yourself a repeat offender.

1.) Kid Cashew had a nice aesthetic. So I decided to sit outside and enjoy my meal. However, this affected my service partially because they were getting a rush. I was off in the corner so I was often overlooked. Yet, the server was pleasant. I will say the chicken could have been more seasoned, which would have made the All Natural Wood-Fired Chicken Avocado more flavorful. The Mac & 5 Cheese was good and creamy, this was my favorite addition to the meal. Overall, my experience may not have been the best but Kid Cashew is worth a try!

My daughter chose Kid Cashew to celebrate her Sweet 16, there was a slight hiccup in the beginning and we thought our plans were going to fall through due to a reservation mix-up, thankfully the manager and I spoke personally and she was so awesome and straightened everything out for us and accommodated our party. The food was pretty good, and our server was awesome. Thank you Kid Cashew for helping to make my daughter's birthday a memorable one ❤️

A friend took us here while we were visiting Charlotte, for some afternoon cocktails and food. Definitely recommend this establishment as the food was awesome. The atmosphere was energetic with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was fantastic, however one of the ladies serving seemed miserable as she was rude and was very unpleasant in her mannerisms. We even informed our server about her as we experienced her service while she bought us a few of the dishes we ordered. Besides that, we had a good time. This place is a must visit. We look forward to dinning here again.

Kid Cashew is my partner & I’s favorite spot - dined here back in August, and here recently this fall! Their food is tasty, fulfilling and you leave feeling good. Would highly recommend their Mac n cheese & spinach dip for starters. As well as the lamb burgers & lamb gyro! The patio is a nice atmosphere with some hanging lights - definitely a good vibe!

The burger was amazing and loaded with bacon! The avocado and brussel sprouts appetizer was very good! The mac and cheese is up there with the best in charlotte! Really nothing to be disappointed about here.
