I recently visited Khyber Coffee and Tea House. I liked the food but the issue was with the service. It took almost 45 minutes to prepare a single patty for my order. I visited with my friends and family. Everyone's orders were being served at different times, which is not good. Some people received their food in 15 minutes, some in 25 minutes, and mine came last, causing all of us to wait. You need to improve your service. Another issue I noticed is that you are charging $4-5 for tea per person, which is not worth it. You guys should reduce the prices for that.
I had the pleasure of visiting Khyber Coffee and Tea House, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The iced chai they serve here is nothing short of amazing – the perfect blend of spices and sweetness that instantly transported me to a world of flavor. Moreover, the ambiance of the place is equally amazing. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, combined with warm lighting and comfortable seating, made it the ideal spot for a relaxing afternoon. Khyber Coffee and Tea House is a gem, and I can't wait to return for more of that delicious iced chai and to soak in the wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended!
My experience here a bit mixed. The Anda Paratha was ok but left something to be desired, as it lacked the necessary salt and pepper, and the authenticity was somewhat missing. On the brighter side, the Chicken Patties were a delightful surprise, offering a good taste. The tea was a standout, truly amazing. The Rasmalai Tres Leches, although delicious, had a bit too much sweetness for my tastebud. The service at Khyber was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was awesome, although it was a bit crowded during my visit. I was truly mesmerized by the way they served the tea, adding to the overall experience. If you can overlook the minor shortcomings, it's definitely worth a visit for the great service, ambiance, and unique tea presentation. I’ll go there with my friends again for sure!
Happy there’s a legit halal cafe option for NJ folks! I had their pastirma on croissant and decaf iced coffee, def recommend. I also had the saffron-cardamom tea for the first time, it was lovely. My friends got the andaparatha, beef patties and egg&cheese on croissant which they enjoyed as well. I tried their iced chai - great strong flavor. The vibes feel good, love the Pak-Afghan aesthetic. Friendly service. Also, the restroom is a beaut fyi! Will come again!
Even though Khyber was a little busy when I visited, the atmosphere and service were both fantastic. The manner the tea was served really captivated me and enhanced the whole experience. It's worth a visit if you can get over the small issues because of the excellent service, atmosphere, and inventive tea presentation. Without a doubt, my buddies and I will return there!
Cute place, fairly busy (many people came in after I ordered), decent food (albeit slow and had to remind them 30 mins after I ordered which is sad because it’s a simple egg & cheese in a croissant). Their matcha is not the best, too heavy on the milk. I also got their chai to go (forgot to take pic), which is definitely a must have for this place. Not enough time (or capacity)to try the rest of the menu but they look really good. Will have to try next time. Only have them 4 stars because they appear to not yet figure out a work flow for when the place gets busy in a lunch hour/morning rush setting.
Pakistani tea house. The tea was good but initially served cold but they refilled and reheated quickly with no charge. Desserts were generic some seemed store bought. They close at 11 PM on some nights and stop taking orders before that time. Space is a little cramped if coming in large groups.
I had recently found this place on Instagram. I forgot who shared it but I automatically knew I had to go. My friend Cynthia and I drove about an hour just to go and try it out! From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we ordered the staff was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. Haarris and Zainub ( hopefully I didn’t spell their names wrong!) were so personable and cool! We ordered about $46 dollars worth of drinks and food. I’m not a chai tea person but their chai tea was so good! The beef Patties were so flaky and tasty! My favorite was the Afghan cream rolls, it was so light and the right amount of creamy and sweet! They also had a high chair for my baby, so if you want to bring your baby- kid. We also got the mango peach and dragonfruit lychee refreshers to-go. It definitely was refreshing and different. We will definitely be back! Also the aesthetic and bathroom ambiance matched the food as well!

I've been going here for a while. Best Poke in New Brunswick! I was in San Francisco last summer and I had poke over there. It didn't compare to Poke Nagomi right here in New Brunswick.
We were lucky enough to catch the Jerry Weldon Sextet a this venue in the smaller of the two theaters. I was taking photos at the event so I wound up exploring every area including the upstairs balcony and the sound was excellent everywhere! That's
