If you’re anywhere near this KFC and don’t stop in just for the museum part, I don’t know what to tell you. It is an amazing place. It is the birth of KFC. There is so much history here. I definitely recommend it.
The museum part was nostalgic and enjoyable. The food was below the average KFC experience. With this being the first KFC it should ensure top knotch service and quality food. Go for the museum and don't bank on the food being any better than average KFC.
I purchased a 8 piece bucket of chicken from there 30 minutes ago, a whole family meal. I ate the bucket of chicken sitting down while a employee noticed with in 20 minutes so I was going by the official KFC chicken bucket refill policy and they denied me my refill saying it wasn't part of their policy at this so called original KFC. I came there with the Colonel Sanders appetite and got denied, though the chicken was delicious! Colonel Sanders would be disappointed! Sorry Colonel! So I packed my sides in the bucket broken hearted and left😭😭😭😭

Finally decided to eat here. Very tasty food and typical of KFC 👍😋. Interesting visuals to see and read about. Just don't use the app, it's lousy!!! Plus my order wasn't ready when I arrived. After 8 customers were served I asked about my order. Only then did they start putting it together.
This is the fastest food service I have ever experienced! The food was not only served fresh and hot our orders were ready for us to grab and take to the table before I ever finished paying for my meal! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable if you have any questions. The museum part of the restaurant is very cool. It shows from the gas pumps from one of his original jobs to his life story and how he come to create KFC! There’s a lot of history to be seen and experienced here! I recommend this to anyone who loves to learn and loves fried chicken.
