Interesting 100-year old ranch, located inside Joshua Tree National Park, with a number of old buildings and a trove of period mechanical equipment. Ranger-led tours are available with reservation only. Worth a special visit when visiting the national park
We had a tour today. Thanks to the Ranger and the Caretakers, it was delightful. The simple life is not what it sounds like, Mr Keys and his family worked hard! It's good to see life in the old west.
Excellent ranger led tour of the Keys Ranch. Hard to imagine being able to sustain a lifestyle in a very tough desert environment. Ranger Mark was very knowledgeable regarding the Keys homestead.
Highly recommend a trip to Key’s Ranch. The tour guide was passionate and knowledgeable, having written several books about the area. Make sure to give yourself enough time to drive into the park.
A really cool tour! Worth the drive and early arrival.
It's like stepping back in time and worth the hour spent on the guided tour. Extremely dusty bumpy and narrow road that serves traffic both in and outbound.

Historic details of remote desert settlers and remnants of the harsh life they lived. Book ahead on line for ranger tour.

Great place to camp for climbers. The Rangers are real sticklers about site reservations and ticketing people but the area IA beautiful. The chasm of doom at night is so fun and watching the sun set from the space station is an experience like no oth
Wonderful experience! Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and my wife's Caesar salad was delicious as well (I stole some ð). It was our anniversary, so they did a complementary toast and dessert. We will definitely be back, if you're ever in 29 Pa
