Key West Resort on Lake Dora - Tavares - Featured Reviews (612)
Awesome and affordable. From the very start, checking in was a breeze, the woman working, very informative, and professional demeanor with kindness and a smile.
The BEST thing,I had dropped my debit card and THANKFULLY they turned it into the front desk instead of keeping and trying to use it!!!
Surprising perks, but i know to bring my flavored creamer next time. 😁
I would not recommend anyone stay here. Very bad experience overall. Deadbolt was broken, furniture was stained and dirty, bugs were absolutely everywhere in multiple rooms. Cleaning people never once came over the multiple nights that we stayed. “Breakfast” is just microwaved self-serve. I would rather stay at a cheap chain hotel than this place. I would at least say the staff were nice if it weren’t for the redhead lady at the front desk. Just terrible.
The rooms need attention. First, there is no patio table, so when you sit outside, you don't have anywhere to sit your drink down or eat your leftovers. Second, the chairs outside are so old that I almost went thru to the floor. Third, the beds are so soft that I woke up with a sore neck. Maybe the owners should spend the weekend and see for themselves what I am talking about. When I spend $200 plus a night out of season, I expect the hotel to be perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I've stayed at the Key West Resort many times. I love the location on the lake. It's convenient to both coasts ( 1 1/2 hour drive). Both Sydney and Dani at the desk are great. Both ladies are very helpful to resolve any issues, as well as very welcoming when I check in. And ( as with ANY place I've stayed), there are small issues. But nothing so drastic that I would not come back.
Our room was extremely large. Two beds, bathroom and a walk-in closet. Very roomy, nice pool and pretty view of lake. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Did not go to Hotel, Dog outdoor Restaurant for 33 years trio. Very good music.
Had Shepherds Pie ??? Was not the greatest, no smashed taters
In middle. Had to eat with Fork & Knife, really messy & greasy.
What a fun hotel! Spread out in 3 buildings on Lake Dora. Every room has a great view. Large clean rooms. Walk in closet to stash your stuff. Restaurant very good! Staff attentive.
First floors are commercial (great coffee shop) and entrance to rooms is in the back of the building. Watch your step! You don't want to encounter the concrete parking barriers!
Breakfast is adequate...go to the coffee shop!
Overall quite nice place. Huge, clean and modern room. However after band quit at 9pm DJ in lounge in same building was initially so loud the bass was rattling our balcony windows. Front desk did what she could to help, though not effective. We finally ourselves talked to the DJ and he turned down some more. Still was thumping away past 11pm and going through my earplugs. Unfortunately because of this, will not be staying here again and do not recommend.
We had such a great time on our mommy daughter date here. The customer service was wonderful, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. We will for sure be back. So glad we found this place!
My husband went with me for the Lake Harris splash and dash tour for my birthday! I loved it. The plane was amazing and our pilot was a great guide and gave us a smooth flight. The area is beautiful and I loved the splash down on the river. We re
I found The Deli Llama just searching for something different than our typical McDonaldâs or Wendyâs and it did not disappoint. The order was super easy to place online, location easy to find. Employees were all so friendly when I walked in and i
