Being somewhat a chili dog snob, oxymoron notwithstanding, I really enjoyed this place. I've had other famous local variations, and honestly most of them suck. They're usually too much of a local product for local tastes. Being from Michigan, I'm a coney island guy, but non natives don't approve. Outside of Bens chili bowl in DC, I wouldn't recommend anyone's, it's just too personal a preference. I'd recommend this place. Not just a wiener with canned chili, the hot dog itself was a red hot. Not spicy but just enough kick to notice. And the chili was actually good, flavorful but not overpowering that it tastes *off. Should've ordered more, but I was only looking for a quick bite. I was disappointed their ice cream mixer was down, I really really wanted that float.
The service is amazing. I’ve ate here so many times and it’s always a positive welcoming vibe. Sometimes the food is a little greasy but it’s not the worst. Overall the food is good. I’ve loved it every time I have been. Definitely recommend especially if you’re passing through and want a good locally own place to eat.
Staff was very friendly, but the food was unfortunately not good. The grilled cheese is just cheese melted (in a microwave) on a hamburger bun, it was quite sad looking. For the price we paid, I expected better food. Definitely overpriced!
Loved the Philly with jalapeño poppers and a strawberry Boston. My partner got the pizza burger with chili cheese fries and both were so delicious also - will definitely be back before our trip is over !
Prefrozen, Preformed, tasteless, hamburger patties on cheap bread. Way spendy. Almost $20 for a burger, fries, and drink. Would love to support local business but Burger King is way better quality and less than half the price. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else.
The prices online are wrong. It's more than doubled. More than $17 dollars for a burger and onion rings. The onion rings were burnt and they put mustard on my burger. I specifically asked if they put ketchup or mustard on the burger. She told me they do not unless you specifically ask for it. I told her I do not want either. They still put mustard on it. Is everyone in the food industry retarded?
It's a quaint little place. Food was good service was good fairly priced. Go eat
The burger is killer. They pull fresh ground beef and griddle patties on the flattop for every order. Great chili dogs, fries, and onion rings too. Open since 1959. The fellow who used to cook at Edd's left and took this place over in 2003. There is indoor seating with Crystal hot sauce at every table. Super clean. Friendly service.
My sister and I have to come here at least once a week. The food is always exactly perfect and the waitresses are so great. You can tell there is care put into the food and in the serving.
Great place for a breeze off the water. We saw someone fishing and he caught a few fish while we were there. Iâm assuming itâs OK to fish there. It has a covered area at the end with benches to sit. Definitely worth the walk out to the end.
What a âlittle gem!â (Southern gardeners will get the reference). Lovely room in an historic house with modern comfort. We came for a performance (Alabama Troubadours) at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom and booked a room so we wouldnât have to dri
We got a custom red velvet cake for my daughterâs 1st birthday and the cake was a big hit everyone enjoyed it I think it was a good price for how big and thick it was highly recommend getting cakes from hereâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
What a nice place to unwind. They have really worked to enhance this area from what I remember as a kid, it's beautiful. A great place to fish, walk or just relax in your car. Take your lunch and just hang out or explore. You'll really enjoy it.
Wow great prices and delicious breakfast foods. The owners are very friendly and offers a variety of choices. You have to try their maple glazed doughnut with bacon crumb ð¤¯ð!!
I also loved the freshly made Kolaches with some salsa to go with. I
Hidden gem. This museum/house is very interesting. Gives insight to local history and living/building of locals. House dates to 1775. The docent was very informative and enthusiastic. We spent 2 hours exploring and learning. Highly recommended
I don't like pickles... and yet they make a pizza topped only with cheese and pickle chips that's just fantastic. Wonderful staff and delicious food. Atmosphere is nothing special, but neither is it off-putting. 10/10 would recommend.
Man, everyone from the coast knows bozos and they did good with upholding their name. Ordered the love boat for two and it was plenty!! Just a lot more shrimp than I expected too lol seafood tasted fresh, seasoning was great, and our server was so pe
