I loved the ominous look when it was dark and dark. It was very pretty. I could see this being someone's place of retreat or if they need to escape for a bit. Great park at a great location.
A very pretty area to visit especially on a date or a time when you want to hangout with some friends. The overhead lights aren't too invasive for the feeling at night, as well as it isn't too dark. Don't be by yourself however at night to be safe as there are many people who set up shop there at night. It's a good place to bring a dog as well due to the enclosed baseball areas and overall open yet pretty much closed space you get around you. It's a very clean park and is used quite constantly for family gatherings such as baby showers, birthdays, etc. The play equipment is also still pretty well kept after all these years. If you have any sort of trigger from hearing gunshots I'd say to be careful though as there is a shooting range pretty close by to the park. Overall it's the best park in Oakdale besides maybe Dorado/Wood Park mattering on what you want from it
Beautiful family picnic and baseball fields. It has a basketball court and horseshoe pits. Don't forger the walking path to the Stanislaus River.
Brought my daughter here, the park was in good condition, almost looked new. There seemed to have a birthday party going on. My daughter made friends with some of the kids and they were all so kind! They had great attitudes and so polite. Anyways... the grass was green, lots of trees so tons of shade, which also seemed to sheild us from the smoke a little bit. It's comfortable. You know parks that you almost just can't wait to leave from? It's not like that! Perfect to bring a picnic and watch your kids play. Great if you've got nothing to do and looking to kill time.
Loved how quiet the park was in between the shooters at the gun club. Was disappointed with the bathrooms. No stall doors and a metal seat in the handicap stall. No real mirror or paper towels or a blower to dry my hands on. Walked a bit on the nature trail?!? Not groomed or cleaned up of any natural debris. That could be a potential fire hazard.
Love this park. Its close to home and the "regulars" are really nice. Its too crowded on weekends and people don't seem to see the speed limit sign (15) so its fun to watch the police give tickets.
I love this park. 3 softball/baseball fields, basketball courts, kids playground, dog park, clean environment that is nestled back away from busy roads. River access is a major plus. Beautiful.
Great place for parties!! Love to go walking here as well it's beautiful
This was the best surprise spot of my week. The murals, the pinball machines. The great owner/bartender. The great craft beer! Seating inside and out. Tacos being cooked inside. We brought in a pizza from next door.. totally cool. Loved the music g
A fantastic little deli in the middle of my home town, I had no idea this place existed until 4 years after I moved cross country and came back for the holidays. I am blown away by the food, service, and ambiance of this place!
This place was a home run. It was my first time here. When we got there we asked if we could bring food in since they didnât have a kitchen. They were totally cool with it. We went with a flight. It was a cool display cause the holder is the shape
Such a great park for children of all ages. The playground is shaded by mature trees. There are lots of neat features like a musical bell set and a balancing board. Lots of stairs to tire the little ones out. Swings and slides for both big and little
It's such a great place to eat! The service, food, and shakes are awesome! Really great staff! Highly suggest this place. Outdoor seating in the shade for those who are curious. Tried it once and brought my family back a week later. We will definitel
The people here are friendly and helpful. I placed two orders, one for a drink and one for a gift card. There were zero issues. It's nice to see that effort has been taken to minimize the impact the drive-through lane will have on the other local tra
