Kenwood Motel - Motel in Kenton - 15168 OH-309, USA

Beware, stayed there in Jan 2023. We woke up with Bed bugs crawling on us and when I confronted the owner at 2 am he did give another room. But, there was no sleeping after that. He gave me a 20.00 bill as a discount only after I asked. It should have been a full refund. I have stayed at this place many times over the years. Won't happen again. We left there and went to the Country Hearth which is a hotel, not a motel.

Kenny and Sue owners are amazing very kind and great people! They keep there word and are helpful when you need something rooms are very clean and if need something extra just ask they get it for you. They don't steal out of your room like B&J does and don't open your doors like B&J motel they leave you in peace quite area and relaxing best motel in town for price!!!!!

My family and I stayed at the Kenwood motel for a couple week's and the owners were very nice to my family the rooms were beautiful and clean. The new beds are extremely comfortable and spacious. The bed had clean sheats and pillow cases and fresh clean towels in the bathrooms. The rooms are refurbished and now come with flat screen tv's microwaves and mini fridges an high speed WiFi an cable for your viewing pleasure. It is a completely drug free atmosphere. The managers are extremely sweet an caring to not only the guests staying at the motel but any visitors they may have. They made our stay there much more homey. There is a beautiful front yard and back yard that you have full access to my son loved being able to watch the squirrels play in the yard. I would highly recommend staying at this motel and can not wait to come back for another visit.

My husband and I stayed at the Kenwood for 6 nights. We prefer to lodge in locally owned, older motels, and have travelled cross country many times, so we have experienced many such places. My sister and her husband and 2 teens stayed 5 nights. Home for family reunion. Lodging options are limited in Kenton. The Kenwood is really nice! So very clean! Beds were comfortable, very quiet (motel located on edge of town next to a field, Rt 309 is far enough from rooms not to be noisy), ac was quiet and worked great ( Ohio is very humid in July). Microwave, fridge in room, lots of hot water. WiFi is strong, ask owner for code. Owner Jay is extremely nice and helpful and honest. Price is beyond reasonable for value! Only approx 15 units, so a reservation is helpful. Nice TV if you are into that, we never turned it on. Parking right near the front door. Non- smoking room had NO smoke smell.

Hotel and room are in good condition - fresh paint, flowers in hanging baskets. Room smelled more strongly of cleaning solution than I like, but it was very clean. Air conditioning worked well, but certain amenities were missing - no hangers in the closet, no shampoo, no place in the shower to put the soap. Managers were quite friendly Overall, perfectly adequate for one night, but nothing special.

Horrible....I believe the bed sheets were not washed. I can see hair, stains etc. on the bed. Hopefully no bed bugs. Bathroom had insects around. They did not clean our room and gave us new towels the second day. You must have been homeless to rate this 5 star.

I've stayed at this motel before and it's okay. The owner does his best to make the stay at his motel a pleasant experience. I had one bed bug bite and the I let the owner known about the bite. He stripped the room that I was staying in and sprayed everything down. No more bed bugs!! Of the three motels in town this is the best of the three.
