Kenwood Lodge Motel - Motel in Hollywood - 1700 N Federal Hwy, USA

I remember this place back in the 80's. Mr Sunny would Feed the birds every morning and clean the pool. Good old days!!!! I have stayed there over the years since it is what it is, fair product for the price. Thanks for the memories.

Worst motel ever, the owner and his wife are the rudest people you could ever deal with they have no respect for their customers. The price it cheap but so is everything else. Stayed for a couple months for $350 a week because i was moving and needed a temp place to stay. When I to pay for the next week he told me the rent would be $500 with no warning I had to find another place and move out in 2 hrs. The walls have holes in it and the pipes leak. The curtains are filthy and their "fresh" towels were dirty. There's drug dealers and user constantly around even knocking on the door. The WiFi signal does even reach half the rooms. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Biggest mistake coming here. Never again.

That picture has absolutely nothing to do with this place. The office makes up prices everyday. Unless they know your face. The maids surface clean the rooms. Dirt in corners of the carpet. Cups and cigarette box was under our bed. A couple roaches breezed through. Have to flush the toilet to activate the hottest water. Rooms are outdated. Room 107 has the most comfy bed I ever slept on. They almost never change the top spread as they only have one residential washing machine. Mini fridge leaked water. Excess paint on walls. Filthy tore up curtains. Filthy looking towels. Roll the dice of the days you will get a clean fresh looking towel. Very good cable channels. Leaning tower of pisa table with microwave on it. Weird looking carpet which they are currently removing from the rooms. Cheap goodwill artwork. Broken window shutters as to where you here all the outside traffic. But very close to downtown and everything else.

The room itself isn't too terrible. It looks like your older aunt's rundown guest room. However, I was quoted $55/night on the phone and advised that they could not take payment over the phone. I get to the location and the woman at the front tells me it's going to be $65/night. When I inform her I just spoke with her on the phone, she proceeded to just say, "not 55, it's 65" and repeated the same sentence a couple of times without acknowledging she spoke to me 10 mins prior. It was $10 and I was in a hurry so I booked the room anyway. Poor business practice.

I haven’t had a problem with the owners myself an I go here a lot. I’m not to sure about the rooms that people stay over night in but there are two or three rooms that the owner rents out by the hour. So u can pay 35$ for a few hours. Personally I think that the motel is a big target for hookers an addicts an dealers. It’s gross enough to be. Believe me, I know first hand😉

The room was filthy and had to clean for 2 hours to make it liveable. The lining and towels were stained badly and the woman up front was very rude. I checked In 2 hours before asking for a partial refund which she then shut the door on me and walked away. I would never stay there again NEVER!

I have stayed here a few times including some weekly stays. Sometimes with a friend or my fiance. There is a pool here, and cable tv and a microfridge. Sometimes the area seems seedy but this place has good weekly and monthly rates. I tried to post a review before. There is a restaurant across the street the Miami Grill. It offers Italian and Greek food. I am hoping to find out other opinions on the place so thought I'd share. Overall, recommend.

You get what you pay for. I have no compains is clean the AC microwave and TV work properly. Its crack city but that's everywhere in Fed on Hollywood. Owners are cool. Will recommend for a quick 1 or 2 day stay.
