Kent Library - Public library in Kent - 212 2nd Ave N, USA

08/19/23: It is one of my favorite libs in King County. It is enormous with a great selection of books. The location is convenient which is near Kent Station. They have good book reservation technologies that allow you to do it through computers quickly and efficiently. The parking is ample. I enjoyed visiting this beautiful and modern library

LOVE THE LIFE OF A Librarian!!! Books and people that is what you will get when you come here! People of all walks of life are using this space and we should respect everyone no matter if they smell, or don’t have a home, or are on drugs. They are all someone’s son or daughter, mom or dad, brother or sister! Love each other please!!

Went to the library on Monday afternoon to help a friend with his resume, about 5:20 pm a vagrant entered the library And started to yell alot of hurtful words To my friend and me. He went into the bathroom and came out with a big stick In which he had come over to our table And started to threated us, I didn't look up because I saw is hand clinched inches From my hand with the stick swinging side to side as he was yelling at both of us I didn't move as I knew he was looking for trouble. Then it was over he left and the librarians came over and apologized and said the security guard was off today they called the police but I left before they got there. I was scared I think I got lucky that day.

It was a cool afternoon. The library was cool. The staff very helpful and I got all that I needed. Thank you.

The staff are friendly and people are able to do their own things, use the computer, check out their books, charge up their devices, use the restroom, it's usually clean and quiet, they also allow events that are open to the public and for the community.

Recently, I felt uncomfortable interacting with two of the female librarians at the information desk. As a Black women, Teacher, and emerging author libraries have always been a joyful, peaceful, and place of learning. On that day. I regretted interacting with those assigned to meeting the public’s need.

Awesome library but surrounded by places that work with hobos and addicts and often they do drugs near here or come into the library causing a ruckus. The city needs to de incentivize these people from loitering around places that are supposed to be safe for kids! The Dems running this city Only care about drastically increasing their budgets by getting more tax payers in the city but that includes bringing in more transients and crime and drugs..
