Our camp site was among some willows and shaded. Much nicer than the photos posted before. Many sites are on open ground with no trees but the have a very nice view of the red rocks to the east. No water so bring your own. Nice fire pits and picnic tables. Very close to the waterfall trail and lake trail. There is a camp hist but she doesn’t sell firewood. Need to get that in town.
Vu depuis
Stayed 2 nights in site 13 in April in an RV. Gorgeous views surround. Hiking and off roading available from campground. Pit toilets were quite clean. Super quiet and peaceful. Site 13 had unobstructed view of reservoir but was quite sloped both front to back and to the side... Would have preferred to be farther up the hill where spots were more level with better views of la sal mountains. Overall though, loved it there. Would definitely come back.
This is a great camping site for visiting the Arches or Canyonland National Parks. It’s within a reasonable driving distance to both destinations. The area is very open and well maintained. It was windy during my stay. Not sure if it’s related to the terrain, a plain area between two mountains. No food storage.
Good BLM campground south of Moab which has a 2 reservable loops and a FCFS loop. The gravel roads in the CG make everything dusty. Only amenities are vault toilets and a dumpster. The vault toilets don't smell inside, but there's a bad odor if you're downwind. Use the satellite view and pick a site far from the toilets!! INBOUND DIRECTIONS - use the Old Airport Rd entrance. It's paved all the way to the gravel campground road. If you come in off Ken's Lake Cutoff/County 175, it's gravel and there are a lot of gravel pit trucks on that road. Don't need a rock thrown into your window!!
Very nice for campers and RVs but maybe not ideal for car camping. No running water, vault toilets were nice for vault toilets but I wanted to wash my face and fill up my water bottle and couldn't. The scenery is beautiful and the lake is nice to look at (too cold to do more than look during our stay in March). Each campsite has a nice fire pit and picnic table. Our campsite had fresh gravel/sand and lots of space for our car and tent and could host a much bigger setup. Finally, the campsites are nicely spread out despite lacking much greenery for privacy and protection from the wind.
We stayed only one night, but it was an easy in and out for our big rig. This is dry camping so bring what you need. They do have vault toilets. There are a few hiking trails and the lake was very nice. Middle picture shows campground from Faux falls.
Perfect for dispersed camping. Large camp sites and vary quiet. Check out the trails and checkout Faux Falls. This is a hidden gem.

Love this place! We go to Moab about every other year for a multi-day mountain biking excursion. I love that this place is next to town, next to the river, next to insane cliffs, next to the exit of the whole enchilada, next to Slick Rock! The campgr
Very well maintained and cool atmosphere with the river right next to you and the tall cliffs behind it. Fee is expensive at $20 especially when you own annual NP pass and donât get a discount.
I experienced Skydive Moab with the brilliant pilot Dustin and cameraman and owner Keith yesterday! With such precision to safety and an epic experience everything was handled and I just had to fly. I came to Moab from Park City to film an upcoming s

Awesome trail! We were the only ones riding up. Did it with a Sasquatch Ford Bronco and jeep with 37s and 3 in lift and both were taking on the trail without too much problem. Couldn't take the cars all the way to the top as it was all snowed/icy so
A great place to stay!. Everything worked just fine. The whole place was very clean with plenty of extra towels, pillows and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was clean and worked great!. The host was quick to respond but did
Best trail weâve run to date. Every bit as challenging as the ratings say, but soooo much fun. Very manageable if you want to make it easy (moderately) and insanely difficult if youâre up for it. Took us nearly six hours because we stopped a lot
My husband and 4yo daughter stayed at the Red Moon Lodge this weekend. Upon waking my husband said, "That is the best night sleep I've ever had" and I would agree! The beds were so comfortable, the sheets soft, perfect temp, and so quiet. We woke to
*** Very important that you can drive and park next to the double arches trailhead, where is the second stop of that area. The first stop parking lot is for the Windows Section ***

On Park Ave trail when you come around the corner and see Courthouse towers it takes your breath away. Its a massive formation up out of the ground standing by itself. The shadows at dawn are especially beautiful as you can see the shapes of the ro
